PES4 REVOLUTION! 3D Models with Oedit +Santarelli has modified Pes4 mdl ball!

ok I 'discovered' that not same afs rebuilding makes game crashes
I can play on modified 0_text.afs and even import all new balls textures but with no ball model imported; when I import ball model (to ball won't look messy) it crashes then; I tried with ball model from mate who got it work so it's not about corrupted ball model file

SO WHAT? :/ DAMN. LIFE surprises me everyday :/

Hmm, I appreciate the new ball model gives us more options, but are we going to be limited to one 30 panel ball model? If the tool is released, people can produce better detailed balls cause they can use fewer and larger panels, which means more detailed textures. As I understand it, we have 1 new model and a bundle of textures nicked from FIFA. We have Oedit, but no plugin for converting mdl's to .o's?

As for the relative qualities of Aerows, download the FIFA Ball revolution .bmps cause the quality of the textures supplied in the PESballrevolution is slightly worse quality, then reduce to 256 with photoshop or whatever.

Jace, I don't understand how we can be "limited" by having one 32 panel ball model. It seems like if you can edit each of the panels on the ball, you can have any design you want. Wasn't the problem with the default pes4 ball models - they didn't allow us to make balls like the aerow.

As far as image quality, you can still use larger images, you obviously just have to break them up into pieces.

Some of the skilled ball makers out there now have limitless options, don't they? What am I missing?

@gcagora for now we have only one ball model and all balls must be like that, so 32 small ball pieces
if we would have bin to .o converter we could make other ball model which could map less pieces or some of them would be smaller and some would be bigger, eg. with 3 big pieces for quality logos and 10 for the rest (eg. lines) or 29 smaller which are just ball background so they don't have to be bigger

I guess Ariel has this sort of tool and maybe even he works on other ball model now, who knows

I see some parts on Aerow texture could be replaced with one and mapped with specific ball model

instead of five parts with the same stripe there could be one but bigger so you could even add some text to it etc. etc.



eg. see SY or plain ball in PES4, they knew it doesn't require 32 separate plain pieces but three or four but with good visible logo and sign of Vieri/Maldini so they made specific ball models to map it
