Hi everyone

i have this little problem that keeps me from playing this game.
No matter what i do or how much i pray to the lord the game (and the whole system) will hang the second a match starts. I can only play penalty matches. the menus work fine, the entrance scene is lovely, but when the match starts...the system just freezes (the sound looping and all). All my drivers are up to date, i tried all settings (low, medium, high...all screen sizes, all sound possibilities and i also closed all running programs using crtl, alt, del). The question here is: should i kill myself? The answer is up to you my benevolent souls. Please (and i really mean please) help me. I'll manage to get you a seat right next to our loving Jesus if you can solve this little problem for me. Thank you very much!
Last but not least: Konami...Your games are getting me a step closer to suicide with each new title you develope, please stop doing this to me.(sorry for my English, I'm from Argentina (Maradona, Asado, Tango!).

Hey stop talking about suicide it stupid...and here on the net u never know who is serious and who is not...u either have a cpu that doesnt meet the requirement or a defect DVD...

first of all thank you for your replies.

I think i have more than it's needed, i mean, i have an athlon 1.4 g, teppro geforce3 64mb, 512 ram. it's above minimums. And to the second guy reply: Don't be so dramatic please!. I think if i had a bad dvd player i wouldn't be able to install any game and i did intall pes4, i did start it, all the menus are working, the entrance scene is absolutely lovely, gourgeos!, and!... i can play penalty matches! but with normal matches the system hangs the second they start.

oh the same happened with the demo.

so card is not above minimum but right minimum, it should work (not high details and res but should run well)
plus your processor and RAM is higher than in minimum specs (RAM even higher than recommended specs)

That's what makes this problem so weird. I have pes3 running smoothly at high detail, and i've had no trouble at all on that version, but pes4 won't work and i don't think this is a specs issue, i think it's something in my pc that's bothering and it makes me mad to have the game installed without trouble, the presentation vid runs pretty well, but i cant' play matches, it just hangs.
Well, anyway, thank you very much for your help and interest, i'll keep looking for a solution 'cause i have to play it!!

ii think the problem is the CPU, 1.4 G is of course above minimum, but I often had proble mplaying games that require 700MHz on my 1.3 G pentium III (with 384 MB of ram and 64 Geforce 4)
btw, should you kill yourself? definitely yes, you've already lost 50% of your life by no being able to play PES4 (play FIFA 2005 and you" ll lose the rest 50%:mrpimp: ) .nah...just kidding..:crazyboy: .go get a PS2 or a XBOX:rockman:
