PES4 First impression thread

Mayor I think we don`t however, it`s said to see people forcing WE fans to say that PES4 is or could be better than WE8. I realised something long time ago. For some particular reason WE games get more attention than PES series. Konami makes WE games with some bugs like slowdown in WE8 but doesn`t include that football feeling in PES3. Remember when you played WE7 and PES3 you can notice alot of differences.
WE7 - The ball movement is alot better and the balls feels heavier..similar to WE8.
In PES3 when you play with a close camera players seem to be levitating.. or floating in the air.. while in WE7 they stick to the ground.. ALWAYS, PES series were faster than ones in WE. No matter what you play 50hZ or 60hZ nothing changes. I can always remember I had alot of fun with good ol' WE7 then WE7IJ came and I was blown away, and when Jumbo sent me a copy with that WEFA x-patch then the **** was even more amazing. One other thin g I`ve noticed is WE patched games look better than PES3 ones.
The last thing I want to say is I am sick and tired of people who never played WE games in their lives and then they come in here and say don`t say PES is crap or like this dude is saying are you playing the wrong game. The fact is there is people in here that have played all PES and WE versions and so far WE beats PES.
I have played WE6, WE6:FE, WE7, WE7i:J, now WE8 I also have PES3, and PES1. You have to understand something, Japanese own Konami even in Europe the owners are Japanese. KONAMI make better games for their own people and the best games they make is the ones FE, Int. versions and these J-L ones. PES4 is a good game 85% similar to WE8 but the differences are still there and we all know what they are.
BUT, and there`s always BUT, Konami never puts an English lang. in their Jap* WE versions. I`m realy struggling to navigate things in WE8. Yeah starting a match isnt difficult but not alot of people are playing ML.

Who has forced anyone to say PES is better than WE? I don't know about WE7/PES3 and the earlier versions, but so far I haven't noticed any difference in PES4 and WE8. And I've been playing WE8 every day since August 4th.
And even you must admit that PES is not CRAP? Club Football is crap. But with the small differences between WE and PES, you can't say that one is the God of football games, and the other is crap.

Yeah, I've played both WE8 and PES4 and the differences in actual gameplay are negligible.
There were more obvious differences in previous version like WE6 v PES2 but now essentially WE8=PES4 with the exception of reduced slow-down, ever so slight tweaks(improvements) in the gameplay in PES4, eg "O" pass bug in WE8 seems to be reduced in PES4, and minor off-the-pitch things like teams and rosters.
I get the feeling with some people here that if you filled up two glasses with coca-cola, then labelled one "coca-cola" and the other "euro-cola", they'd be spitting out the euro-cola saying it tastes like cat-piss and coca-cola is way better.

Ive never played a WE game, all i have ever played is PES3, new to the game on all accounts............why am i hearing that WE games are superior to PES, do the Japs change the game or somthing when they release WE as PES, give the europeans a lesser version??? i dont know the ins and outs to the 2 games, and whats this "Jap" feeling, are you talking about the Jap commentry? or is the game that much different?
Others say there is no difference, so from my point of view its hard to know what to believe, but there are always people who work on the microcosmic level and blow things out of proportion........PES3 is a top game and im waiting to enjoy PES4 which looks A class.

if you own pes3 and nothin more, pes4 is surely worth your time.

I'm really enjoying PES4. I'm not as into the WE series as my buddy Jumbo but WE does have a great atmosphere helped by the commentators. The PES commentators couldn't get you excited about free money! Still, at least they don't use Clive Allen. We have him commentating on some of the EPL games here on Fox Sports World (I believe he used to play for Spurs) - he is the dumbest, most boring commentator on the planet.
No reason for PES4 fans not to get PES4, it's still light years ahead of PES3 even if some people do prefer the WE series.

One thing I'd like to know...is the crossing on PES4 the same as in WE8?. I hope so, I like the idea of the ball curling when you run down the wing and cross it in, I hate the straight deliveries on PES3.
