PES3(WE7) in North America

Hi all, speaking to you from the football-deprived wasteland that is North America(Canada). After playing the demo on my PC I have seen the light and am ready to switch to PES, but I have no idea if and when I can get it for the PS2 (not PAL). I would gladly buy the PC version but my computer is crap. Anyone who can help me join the dark side? If I have to buy FIFA in order to play football i'll kill myself.

You can import it from UK. The PS2 version is already out. I think Play.com and http://www.templegames.co.uk/ ship to North America.

Just a note: don't import PES3 from Europe unless you have a chipped PS2 and a way to handle the PAL signal on your TV.

If you're going to go the import route, WE7 is what you want to get. It's already formatted NTSC.

I ordered my copy from play-asia.com, and that worked out well:

I'm really hoping the PC version runs better than the demo. Not only do I not want to wait until Feb to get the game for my ps2, but I'm already imagining how great the PC version can be if there are 1/2 the add-ons that people design for FIFA. The PC version has the potential to be one truly awesome game.

I've been thinking of doing that, but money is becoming an issue. I still have to get a ps2, and will probably end up buying fifa04(it's a sickness). Not to mention Christmas (which is quickly coming up):( :hit:

Who am i kidding? I'll cave within the next week and get WE6(i need help).

WE7 is great, but WE6 is a great build up for WE7 before it comes out in february

Obvious advice: if you do decide to get WE6I, look for it used. Check out places like half.com, amazon.com, and ebay.com...

The game started out at $39.99 when Konami released it last March. It has to have dropped since, and I'd imagine you'd probably be able to find a good deal if you snoop around.
