PES3 inicial black screen problem

hi,

after the Konami logo intro... a black screen appears to me and i can't pass for him with any key... the game simply stop in that black screen...

solutions??

Delete a file called "cafe", it's locate in the "dat" folder inside the PES main folder.

i have heard from ppl with that problem that uninstalling some codecs solve the problem too

Tried deleting the file, it works. But is it possible to make me view the intro video?

Yea you cant see the intro now... i never had this prob when i installed this game guess i am lucky

ati just released catalyst 3.10 official drivers,give them ago. tried them today seem really good so far.....

Certain gamepads are causing this problem and similar crashes on trying to run PES3. The Nostromo n45 for one causes the game to simply not start, without any obvious error report. A couple of threads elsewhere said the Nike Airflow pad (may be a little off on the name there, I forget) causes similar issues but inconsistently. Search the forums and you'll find various threads with info on the starting crashes. For the record, the Logitech Dual Action pad works perfectly, incase you end up looking for a new one.
