PES3 demo: Great but a bit too easy?

So everybody seems really pleased, but...

Y'all don't think it's a bit too easy?? I'm playing at 5-star difficulty and if I don't win then it's a draw. The computer opponent is not giving that big of a challenge.

What do you think?

i have seen on other forum that is not the reel 5 stars level but in fact the 3 stars.

I wouldn't be very happy if I play a game which is too easy after 3 days of playing
I am happy that's NOT the case....
If you think that 5 star mode is the strongest mode, just wait for the real game and play Master league on 5 stars... you will be in for a surprise

Playing a single game is not like playing a tourney, I don´t know but at least in master league 5 stars are harder than a friendly

I recommend you´ll wait for the fullgame and choose an underrated team and play it on the highest/hardest level. after that you should contact either konami or your local pro pro evolution soccer clan.
I am working on three stars (Standard) level right now, that demo/game gives so much fun..

wow.. I've been playing WE seris for god know how long, and still can only win 1-0 or 2-0 in 5 minutes 3 stars match and also lost a couple of time .

i do remeber in master league mode of we6,there is an extreme level harder than 5-star.but in we7, no such thing .

Well I'm going to type this all again, I hit the wrong button and IE went back a page, so I went forward and I lost everything I had typed here, grrrr. So anyway, I myself (unlike most of us?) am completely new to this game, and I must say, I'm throughly enjoying the demo, I can't seem to get enough of it. I'm currently playing on 2 stars, I've won some and lost some and scored some really great goals. The game looks ultra realistic on the TV (got the PC connected to it and I'll never use the monitor again with this game), and the dramatic replays are just sensational, even if you don't score it's still great to watch. By the way, I read about (and I hope I have this right) playing as just "one" player on field instead of controlling the whole team, is this correct? I noticed when moving my analog stick to the right on the team selection screen, I see a person which looks like he trying to say something instead of it saying P1. I played a game like this but couldn't control anyone, it was like a CPU vs CPU game. Having never played the game or having the manual, I have no idea what that is, lol. Oh, and also, I saw some WE 7 goals and noticed camera flashing during the replay goals, I don't see these in the PES 3 demo?

Moving the stick on that screen changes to manager mode or having the cpuu control that player, so you can habe the equivalent of a 2 player co-op game with the cpu.

Pressing L1 repeatedly on the same screen lets you control 1 player for the match. http://www.soccergaming.tv/showthread.php?s=&threadid=83769&perpage=15&pagenumber=2 I've stuck some screens on this page how to do it and there's a description down the bottom.

erno_kivinen: I'm pretty sure this is real 5-star difficulty...I bet you're not handing out any thrashings and if you think bout it draws/narrow wins between these 4 teams are pretty realistic.
Like Liternit & AcillateM have said, once you reach the later stages of a cup or Master league the 5 star games get real tough

I played 5 star on the demo yesterday for the first time as Spain away to Italy...I played for 30 mins (using the chinease demo expander)...and lost 3-2 - not bad for an EX-Fifa player no???

Glory, I set the option to FIX and you are correct, I was able to play the game controlling just one person. I chose Italy as my team and it seems Vieri was the onyl play I could choose, but I was able to place him in any position which is great. I managed to score a goal (headed it in from a teammate cross), but it was disallowed because I strayed offside I'll have to install Fraps (I tried the new version by my Athlon 1GHz doesn't support SSE), perhaps I'll try the latest last free version and get some goals and highlights going, I'd love to save some of them and post them in here.

Mike: a couple of screens after the cursor select it should show you your formation and ask you to select a player press enter on the P1 net to Vieri then you can move it to any player you like( I recommend Totti, his passing and close control are superb )

There is also a player settings screen in game, greyed out in the demo, where you can change who you're controlling...so you can run some poor bastard into the ground for 60 mins then bring on a fresh sub (you'll really notice how much fatigue affects players in PES)

Glory, I'm at work at the moment, (I wanna go home and play PES, lol), but from memory I could move down to Vieri push a button on him and he would blink, I would then select another play and push the button again on him and all that would do would "swap" positions, not players. I'll have to try it again when I get home. I also noticed that players do not get tired or don't appear to, almost like the whole team is on sterioids, which seems a little unrealistic, BUT works well in the game, it keeps everything free flowing which is cool.
