PES3 and FIFA

Hi,
sorry to post a PES3 topic here, but i just thought some would be interested.
i am a big FIFA fan and played all version since FIFA International soccer back in 1995. it's a great game and Fifa 2004 is the best yet of them all.

but i just got a copy of PES3 and started playing. here is what i can say after playing for some days.

Graphics
-----------
The intro is the best ever... but other than that Fifa 2004 is 10 times better and everything seems more realistic and smoother than the Konami game. 1-0 for EA.

Sounds
---------
Both Commentators repeat themselves in both games... so i say it's a tie here. in game sounds are more realistic in EA but Konami made them sound like you play in an arcade machine. though when you hit the post in PES it's a great sound.

Gameplay
=======
Difficulty
----------
I played at level 3 (out of 5) in PES and still can't win. in Fifa i win or draw all the time in Pro mode. but i think i must play more to say which is harder to beat.

Complexity
-------------
no doubt -- EA game is much easier to play as there are less buttons and many things happen automaticly.

Dribbling
-----------
Fifa has dribbles, but they are just for fun... making a stepover doesn't really help you get rid of the defenders. in PES3, you can do dummy shots which are really effective and you can do it to the keeper to.

Passing
----------
PES has the same passing as in Fifa but there are a few more - like a one-two pass.

Kicking
--------
It's harder to aim, but there are many kind of shots -- bicycle kicks, headers, diving headers, lobs, volleys, hald-volleys. i can say that almost each shot is different.

CPU AI
--------
PES does god job here. i liked it alot. i can honestly say my team mates play better than me when they defend.

Free Kicks, Corners, Throw-ins
--------------------------------------
FIFA takes it big time. coz' PES doesn't really let you aim the balls. but they do have a cool thing that you can make the ball "dive" when it's in mid-air (good for free kicks to make the ball go over the wall and then down to the ground near the post). PES needs to learn from fifa here.

Fun Factor
-------------
PES is harder for me so when i score i really jump and shine my shoes... but FIFA is great too. so i guess both are great to play.

Real Goals
-------------
i am so happy to see a goal that can happen in real life happen in the FIFA game. i can say that PES3 has every goal like in real life. long shots will go in only if they are shot well and hard and this is my favorite goal so far: England: Heskey struck a low shot from the edge of the box, the keeper managed to stop it but Owen was there to finish it to the top net.

Other Stuff
========
Replays & highlights
-------------------------
PES does a good job, they show replays of goallie stops and such. you can lock on a player and see what he did in the play.

Clubs & modes
-------------------
PES doesn't have all the real teams(so Merseyside Reds instead of Liverpool). so it kinda sucks... this is one of the best things FIFA does -- you can play on every ground in the world (almost).

=========================
I heard people saying there is sort of a lag or something that makes it unplayable. i got a new computer(266mhz with a Radeon 9600) so it didn't happen to me.

What i am saying is this: it's not EA against Konami, you can play BOTH game.

Have Fun,
