Maybe Konami should scrap the current game presentation system, and make it more like playing in an actual game than on t.v.
What I mean is that since most people seem to hate the commentators and wish for better chants. Just cut out all of the commentary all together and use that space for chants and improving the atmosphere.
- It might also make the game better/harder if the main camera view were closer and more level with the pitch. People who play with the player or close camera know how much faster the game is when you don't have lots of time to see the entire field on the wide camera angle.
- Introducing player "calls" and gestures during games would also be cool. Like if a striker was running to get the ball or running into space, they either point to their feet or the place where they want the ball played, also have players in lots of space wave their hands to get your attention (maybe like in Madden football). And since there would be no commentary, maybe you could have "calls" from players like "turn" or "clear it" or something like that.
- Also, no stops in play. For throw ins, have the guy closest to the ball throw it in (even if it just appears in his hands), unless you pause it and "change thrower" for a long throw. When you want to make a sub, after you have chosen the guys to come on, have them just stand at midfield and wait for the next dead ball, etc.
- We also have to have 360 degree passing. It may even be better if you could swerve the ball after you pass it in the air or on the ground (depending on a players skill) instead of just having the ball go to someone. I would also get rid of the "automatic" through ball button and make it a driven pass in the air and the current lob pass a more floated ball for some variety (the driven pass would be much faster, but harder to control).
- AND LET"S HAVE A BIT BETTER AWARDS CEREMONY! We've had the same awards show for a few years now, and I don't really even pay attention anymore. Nice touch carrying the flag around if you win an international tournament, but it would be better if they had the players go into the stands to collect their trophies and medals or something in addition to what they have now for some variety.

Oh, and I would also like to see more choice to set the options for the way a player plays in the strategy menu. Like having a choice to set players like Lampard and Veron to "midfield controller" who would then regularly run around to get the ball from teammates and are always available and then play it or"midfield general " (a bit corny, but hey, it's konami), for people like Viera or Makelele who just sit and control the middle and defensive third of the field or a "deep passer" for players like Beckham or Pirlo who will go into the defense to get the ball to start attacks with long passes.

That to me would be nice.

I agree with all of those stuff, but mostly : remove the freaking god damn automatic side-step! I'm getting bored of it. Also, it would be nice to choose which players can do the elastico in player edit.

1. List own goals in the scoring summary under Match Details. Currently this is a complete joke, if a match finishes 1-0 and the only goal scored was an own goal, you see nothing in the scoring summary post-match. If they've implemented enough to tell you who scored the o.g. in the Match Log, they should put it in the scoring summary. Seems a glaring oversight to me.
Example: Ferdinand 28 (og)

2. They've always listed the minute the goal was scored incorrectly. If I score a goal at 52:45 in the second half, then the goal was scored in the 53rd minute, not the 52nd minute as the game will report. Nitpicky but staggeringly obvious.

3. In the scoring summary post-match, if a goal was scored via penalty, mark it as such. Example: Lampard 34, 62 (pen)

4. The in-game score display in the upper right corner should ALWAYS display the home side on the left and the away side on the right, NOT flip-flop them at HT to match up with which goal they are attacking. Again, you never see this on TV and it boggles my mind why they would have done it this way.
