Club Supporter
Hi, long time no see!
After quite a long time playing PES, I've some comments to make.
I have to say that I've mostly been playing with friends all kinds of tournaments, either singles or doubles, custom, world cups, europian(!!?)... and finaly got to play alone, in a master league cometition, just to find out what's it all about and have some club-fun. This is what my opinion on Master League is:
1. It's silly to put European and South American sides into one same competition
2. League competitions should be split into different competitions:
one should be formatted as Champions League(that would be most fun) with European clubs, other should be as a club world cup, including south american sides, as well as some other world clubs.
(League with 15 clubs in few divisions is a great idea, but it makes no sense if it's not a one conuntry league. Since there's no licence, the developers should make competitions as natural and real as possible and not make some imaginary leagues and competitions. For me as a big soccer fan, it's very irritating)
(ONE THING I NEED TO MENTION, BEFORE I FORGET; WHEN WILL THE KONAMI MOVE THOSE SUPER MARIO POP-UPS 'THROW-IN, GOAL KICK, CORNER KICK'!?!?!?!?!?!)
3. Transfer system, rating of players is absolutely fun, but unreal! Why? Simply because it's stupid to take up a side like ManUtd with such rediculous players and play a match agains Real with Carlos, Figo, Zidane... in a second division. O.k., I managed, i went through to the first division, but, only after so many wins and half of the first season in 1st division have managed to buy deacent players to run for the first place. Now, I have a fine side, with 15 matches to go, but 10 points behind and I still have to buy 2 quality defenders, which means that it is possible to have a decent side only after 45 matches. I think this 3rd division will get you ready until you reach the 1st but bonus at the end of the season should be higher. Also, these players shouldn't be imaginary, but less skillful. What I mean is that ManUtd should at the begining have players that play for, let say, Leicester, or Bolton! Also, better sides should have more capital, while weaker ranked teams should receive more money for wins, or at least for wining against the better sides and be able to sell players at a certain cost which would grow after a number of good games and goals scored!( for example, I had Cellini guy which scored as many goals as Larsson but he isn't worth anything. I replaced him with Hasslebaink who costs a fortune, especialy for wages)
