Yes the same handball situation happened with me, with the defenders waving their hand to the referee... he awarded a freekick 
And the situation was so normal.... it was a one-on-one situation, and the ball bounced off my keeper's body and hit the attacker's hand while he was jumping over the keepers legs..!!
But I must say this now.... the game is so realistic and all, but the fun factor has been -till now at least- greatly reduced. If the fun starts after 2-3 months of playing the game, then I'm willing to play for 2-3 months. But now, it simply feels like "work"!
And somehow, in PES4, I used to LOVE the feeling of scoring a goal... but till now, scoring a goal seems like I've finished an assignment at work... BUT, the upside is, the more I play, the more methods of scoring I discover. And this certainly adds in the fun... I recently scored an amazing FK with Beckham... and I'm confident that when I get around the goal-scoring methods, (plus get used to the new physics) the fun will certainly kick in...
PS - I play on 5* (and winning is surprisingly easy esp. after only a week of purchasing the demo... but still there's a 6* coming up)
Tip: Ground through passes are far more efficient than Lob-through passes. If u want to to the latter, only certain players like Zidane and Beckham will get the job done. That is spectacular, since in PES4 it was way too easy.

He has lob shoot hability, what seems to improve lob passes as well.ive noticed that the nets are far more reactive and ive seen players fall into the net putting their arms out which looked quite cool.
the cut scene to the supporters is pretty cool when you score a goal, just hope the skins for the fans are changeable so i can have my fans wearing lacoste tracksuits, fake burberry hats and throwing coins, flares or mobile phones at players... and then maybe to have cutscenes of rooney swearing, assualting refs or both... lol

I just found something really cool 
If there is a throw in and there is two players that the thrower has the option of passing two, you can actually foul one of them.
What happened was Raul was throwing the ball in and Roberto Carlos and Ronaldo were standing there, I held R1+R2 right when the ball was thrown in and ran my lampard into Roberto Carlos. Ronaldo who had recieved the throw in didn't have anyone to pass to since Roberto Carlos was down and the ref had given advantage so I charged him and took the ball when he attemped to dribble.

i came across a strange thing i was playing arsenal vs chealse and it was all going great i was styleing and profileing with henry then i took a shoot on goal it went a little wide then a cutscene came with henry limbing and injured i said what the f***
happened then a replay came for the play that injured henry it was a tackle by lampard but i thought it was a cool thing

i was playing we9 against the cpu. I was using AC Milan against Real Madrid. Some guy went down and an exclamation mark came up. I ignored it and kept on playing then 2 or 3 players all of a sudden charged into me and tackled me hard and the ball went out of play! they took my player out. I was thinkin i should have kicked it out of play earlier..lol
i also notice players get agitated if you keep fouling them. They dont only push and shove each other when there going to get red cards like in pes4. I noticed this during a match against Real where Beckham tried to fight one of my players during a cutscene. Cuz I kept tackling him hard.

I luv how u can nutmeg or do a number 8 (hit the ball to one side and run around the defender the other way)... as its all part of the game..... I have had sum unbelievable dribbling sequences with Dennis Bergkamp....... Dont listen to what sum ppl say about dribbling being hard and impossible......If u Master this technique you can dribble your way around a few defenders.
