If konami are producing the xbox 360 next gen version on the pc, then it will truly show that they don't give a feck about us pc owners if we get a straight port version of the ps2 game.
Surely they have to give us what we deserve and that would be the next gen version, not some middle cut garbage version to accommodate a 5 year old + fecking out of date crappy console.
If we do get the ps2 version, then that is an INSULT to us and why the feck should we buy it ?

PES6 is not gonna be just PES5 with updated rosters. It will have lots of gameplay changes and (hopefully) improvements. I've heard that auto-sidestepping will be gone and that there will be crowds in all camera views. The whistles will decrease and so on. PES5 was, I thought, a big change over PES4. Bigger than the change from PES3 to 4. PES6 only really requires refinement not anything major. For PES7 though I want some major changes beyond just better graphics. User adjustable camera would be nice...
Graphically on the PS2 PES6 is not going to look a whole lot different from PES5 naturally cause the console has pretty much been maxed out but there will be some nice new animations. I don't know for sure but I'm pretty sure the PC and PS2 versions will be identical graphically. The 360 version is the showpiece for Konami to show off some better graphics whereas if they do that with the PC this year the system requirements would go up and would likely decrease sales. It sucks but I bet thats Konami's rationale...maybe I'm wrong.

Yes, you would need a decent pc to run it on the high setting, so if you don't have a decent pc then you can scale down the graphics to suit your spec of pc.

It could have the graphics of pes3 for all I care , I just want a flowing game , where players can take the ball on the run and not stop to take a touch or stop as you put your control Icon on them ..

The gameplay is fine in my opinion, it is the one thing that has evolved over the last 3 or 4 years. The graphics however, have stagnated, and I would much prefer to see a better looking game this time with the excellent game play that recent PES's have offered.

MAJOR IMPROVEMENT!

Man this is one of the most important improvements konami made since they created this game. No more cheap goals. I guess a lot of people will have to completely relearn how to play if they want to be able to score.

So long as it aint as bad as the ****e way the players controlled the ball in PES5 ill be happy! every time your player got control of the ball they went all stiff and you felt like you werent in control and the ball seems like its always bouncing off and away from your players and the turning of the players was sooo sloow and bollocks it was untrue at times. Yet the CPU could control it perfectly all the time.

why is this considered cheap? Yes it is an easy goal, because lots of people cant defend against it. My advice to them is: Learn to defend!
People can score however they want, except when they use exploits of the game.

I agree with you MisterM that people can score however they want, but you must admit that the way most people play PES5 or even PES4 is: run up the wing + center the ball. Is that the case in real football? Do you see Fc Barcelona, Arsenal, or Ac Milan run up the wing and center 95 per cent of the times they attack?? The answer is NO. Why no? Simply because it is not as easy to do as in PES. Pay attention to this and you will see that around 40 per cent of the goals at least online in PES5 are scored with headers. Is that normal? NO. because if it were they would have called this sport "Headball" not "Football".
Anyway, this is just a critique of the past games which I played, loved and still love. And No I am not an angry noob who doesn`t know how to defend (as a matter of fact that`s what I do best), and no I don`t hate Konami, and no I`m not a Fifa fan. And yes this is just my opinion which you don`t have to agree with. So please no angry responses from sensitive fans who know they will have to completely change their strategy for PES6. They're all saving their announcements and news for X06 and tgs, just wait a few days more and we'll get some good info. As I haven't seen this posted around, maybe you should be aware that a tottaly different game is currently being developed for ps3 with unknown yet title, and as far as I could understand it will be their first real next gen move for the series.
Assuming they have solved lag and other minor pes5 issues it'll be an ok release though.

hopefully there will come a day when you cant score these samey goals, its really annoying when when some talentless feckwit scores the same goal on you five times and then calls you **** even though you played something like resembling football and hes played like a fifa refugee. Or those twats waiting outside the box at goal/freekicks. Konami should impliment some A.I. Lamer acknkowledgment code that picks up on these tactics and chucks them all into the gooseberry lounge so they can play eachother. Who wants to play against lazy unimaginative fecks like these.
