Could someone who can play this game confirm with me the following.

1. Anything other than a short pass will most likely result in losing the ball?

2. A 0-0 result on the 5* level is in fact normal and should be considered a victory?

3. That no less than 4 hours a day for a full year will result in regular wins on 3* up to 5* level?

4. That despite my lack of ability to play this game Konami did create a game that takes itself too seriously and need to introduce the fun element that was evident in pes4? ;)

I have been trying to get to grips with this game for a long time (coming from fifa)

After writing my first post in this thread I decided to sit down and try and work out what I was doing wrong that resulted in frustration and limited success.

Well, it just clicked I was playing the game too slowly. I have increased my reaction to each situation in the game and suddenly the whole game comes to life. For example I have just played 6 games in a row and scored an average of 2 goals per game on 5*. I can’t believe it.

What helped also was experimenting with the team I was playing with i.e Arsenal to Manchester Utd. The difference in style helped me a lot.

It has taken me to the near release of pes6 to get anywhere near this game.

Suddenly, the game makes sense to me. (walks away with egg on face!) (walks back in forgot coat)
