PES 5/ WE 9I- What level difficulty?

I want to start a new Master's league till PES 6 comes out - But don't know which level of difficulty is most realistic. I usually play on 3 stars...any feedback would be appreciated- I don't notice much of a difference between 3,4,5,6- are the refs better on one--what are the differences bewteen the levels

well, you must be really mentaly challenged if you play on 3 stars, no offence, all of you should be playing on 6 stars... it will took you some time, but thats the point right? on 3 stars i could easily score 3-6 goals every game (10 min), its really boring...

Do you really have to boast like that? Maybe some of us here haven't been playing the game as long as other have or for as many hours a day as some of the guys on these boards.

Calling him mentally challenged is really out of line. Hey, you can play at the 6 star level, that's good for you but don't put others down when they don't have the skill (yet) to play on the same level as you.

Geez...some people these days...

It's f*cked up when I play in 4/5 stars difficulty level in WE9I. The AI are so freaking smart, no way that I can beat the teams in ML.

3 stars are the best thing in PES5/WE9I.

For WE10, I heard it's similar to WE8I/PES4 gameplay from numerous reviews. I put the 4 stars difficulty when playing WE8I.

i haven't played the game for too long

had a bit of a mess around on all difficulty settings, i seem to find on 5/6 stars the computer seems to play really aggressively, always surrounded by players, frequent small fouls given. I think its just annoying, ruins the flow of gameplay! Maybe just practice is needed but you can hardly move!

The first day i brought the game i put that sucker on 5 stars and i don't ceare if i'll loose. I did played first game just for preview on 3 stars though.

I want 6 so bad but i don't have enough money to unlock it. 5 is not hard and is actually very fun with hard opponent. I wish computer can be as good in attack as in defence though.

I play 6 , moved gradually to it though, as I was used to FIFA. 6 has less game flow, the game stops a LOT for really stupid reasons! sometimes it feels like they made my team's AI weaker so that i'll lose somehow, they're all pretty dumb.
I play WE9LE.

Well i feel WE8 really easy even at 6 star but when it comes to WE9 i hardly score a goal in 4-5 star

6 star really would be the way to go if you want the feel the excitement of a match going down to the wire. It's really hard to score more than 3 goals and next to impossible to come from 2 behind.

But then again, you do tend to see a lot of stupid or missed ref decisions on 6 and you really feel the bite when you play **** players in a team of awesome players.

5 would be the way to go if you want goals, but the challenge dies quickly.

I would tend to agree....I play on 6* with Barcelona and on 5* with St. Etienne in my ML and I find they are both challenging, due to the difference in quality in the squads.

6 stars all the way. Usually starting with ML default players. Starting points depends on league and which division I start in.
