Man, I'm sorry to tell you that they have to change the stats in order to be able to fill the game with hundreds of new players. They can't create manually all the new players, and for that they use de FM database...

I suppose you might have to make a double installation to have the patched game and the original, or not to touch the Option file...

Yeah, this is a tough one. It's a case of being inclusive and filling in the missing players that Konami left out or leaving the database as it is.

Either way is gonna annoy some people. PESFan have created very realistic stats for new players in their option file for the PS2 so I'll look at the stats for the new players from that rather than converting everybody to FM2006 stats or whatever.
