PES 5 demo bugs...

A friend of mine (yeah mauricio my dear friend ) had a very strange bug !
His GK had to do a rush to make clear a ball, and it goes out. He played the throw in back to a defender, wanted to pass to his gK... and ... WTF he disapeared O_O (not a joke believe me, i'm a true PES fan


any1 same pb ?

I've not really been about for PES4 but in 5 on high detail things disappear from the screen like armbands, wristbands, tape etc. I hear this was a prob in 4 as well, but I couldnt be sure.

it's not a bug it is done on purpose to prevent slowdown

yeah thats coz the the game switches to low poly player versions, its annoying they didnt fix it, the tape one anyway...the michael owen hair bug is still there too...

i'm sure most pcs could handle it particurly if you are playing on high....

they probably could but PS2s can't and the demo is a PS2 port, like the full version will probably be

this is true, quite annoying at times even if its a minor prob, i'd like to see the players with tape...

i think it looks awesome with a good computer
was so sick of all the bald players on we9
now they all there
i find it hard to play this game on ps2 now
im used to the higher res,aa and af and been closer to the screen
on ps2 and tv i feel like in cheap seats in the grand stand
my comp is amd64 3200+ venice core abit an8 2x512 cosair twinx 3200 ddr
radeon x800xl
running at 1280x960 graphics on high with 4x aa and 8x af
its flawless

how can u use antialiasing when its not available in the game? i can only change resolution and quality

the game crash when one of the players are injured, and I have to reboot comp. Has anyone encounter this bug too?

yes the injury screens must be missing, and can people remember this isn't an officially released demo!

i got aimar injured when i was playing and it was awsome, it told me about his injury at the end of the play(not instantly causing a freekick like in PES4), then you see him limp away, finally when he was being subed off he limped off slowly was really cool!

using 9800pro, catalyst 5.8, viewsonic vx924 monitor.

When a player is injured my game crashes

Also this game is still too strict on the offside rule. And fouling is too easy but i need to get used to it really.

Ohh and it's impossible to win the ball back when the computer is in one of its moods not letting you play the game (same as in PES4)

Thought these might have been tampered with a little for the new game

Change to 85hz, runs much clearer
