What about a dive button? I mean, players do dive all the time IRL, so i think that when you're getting pressured on the ball inside the area for example, you could push the dive button and your player would dive, and sometimes the referee could fall for it. If it doesnt work your player should be carded, stuff like that.

just played euro 2004 demo with demo factory add on to play with various settings....
that game has NO ANY LITTLE BIT OF CHANCE TO BE COMPETITION TO PES3/WE7:I and future PES4
I posted my feelings on Euro 2004 forum...

my PES4 wishes:

- stars tricks (Ronni & Okocha feints must be!), and NOT - some freaky "strange turns"

- 15 boots in edit mode

- possibility to choose from few balls before match

- players don't jump after each shot in real matches

- please make normal headers (like in WE 2002)
- shot system from WE2002 would be perfect too...

- WEAKER FOOT FREQUENCY, just like it is in WE7:I japan on PS2, it really freak me out when my player wants to shot with his better right foot when I'm running from right to left side of the box

- please do not give your commentators sleepin' drugs next time - thank you

- possibility to assign specific celebrations to concrete players in edit mode, and maybe even make my own, just like it was in PSX game, WWF Smackdown (you could make ANY kind of move from single frames of animation)

- ability to curling ball from action - priceless...

Better AI as in playing against the CPU your team-mates make off the balls runs in support of you, and forwards don't stand waiting until you are just about by them before making runs, con't know how many times I have (as midfielder) with the ball and the forward don't move until your just about up on them and when they do dicide to move its just about in front of you giving you no angle for a good pass.


I know there is a button , pass and hit it and the player that has just passed the ball is suppose to make a forward run, works sometimes? but in PES4 you team mate should be moving and maing runsoff you to make a great game even better!


This is the one thing I think make alot of football games fall down a bit.

Online Mode and keep Master League, but add the capability to manage in a real hole league any squad.

I forgot about full analogue (movements in all directions, not only 8) and dual shock support

the one of few things I like in fifa/euro is vibrations support which make games really cool, I wish to see (to feel) it in PES4

god damn, fifa 2005 forum has official wishlist thread, each one can post just once (and edit own post at any time) and later EA devs will read it and "try" :drevil: to implement most wanted features

Tech's in this forum can fill me in , but passing in Pes3 as in I have 2 team mates near me 1 about 2yrds in front of me with a opposition player just off him facing me, my other team mate is about 10/12yrds away slightly to the side of me. I move the analog stick to face my 2nd player 10/12yrds away and press down hard and hold..

I let go! the ball rolls slowly to my mate mate who is only a few yards from me , and because he is so close the ball goes slow giving time (9 times out of 10 ) for the opposition player to cut it out and walk way with the ball..

why does it do that ??
I was not facing my nearest team mate but the one over 10yrds away..

Hey Guy!!

If you Hold down R2 and R1(defualt buttons) You have complete control of the player that is in AUTO mode. I use to give up corners and freetrhows too but once I figured this out playing has been SWEET!!!!!!!!

any ideas on the passing one, why most times even when I try to pass to a player Im facing and further away, when I hit the pass button the ball it goes to another of my players who is closer. And because he is so close the ball runs very slowly and allows the oppositon player to stepin and take the ball away?

I trust Konami to make yet another mind blowing game but I would like to be able to drible properly, I know there's the R1 and R2 but it still isn't real dribbling. By real dribbling I mean dribbling like Cristiano Ronaldo or Giggs, all the type of players, weaving in an out of defenders at pace and not some slow stepovers and running around in circles etc.

Also when the opposition has a throw in you should be able to bring your player right up to the guy taking the throw in to put him off. Also I would really love the ability to taket quick free kicks, quick throw ins.

More cut scenes etc.

But like I said, I trust Konami to come up with the goods yet again, they are Konami, not EA Sports...thank god for that!

i hope konami will not do the same (mistake) like EA in introducing some random dribble funtion like the current one in EA's Euro2004 (right analog stick) - for me it doesnt feel like real dribbling

- Better referees
- Random handballs need to be taken out
- Pickin` a spot on the ball to kick just like in FIFA, but keep the others in doin` free kicks the same like in previous years.
- More stadiums
- Club`s tournament competition like ECL ( not Konami Cup, since the format is kinda different )
- More player`s attributes in skills.
- More South American teams.
- Ability to create teams ( maybe up to 40 teams ).
- Fake diving ??? ( many players do that ya know . . . )
- Bonus mini games ( like Futsal modes, Beach mode or free-style chalenge )
- First person view camera ( sounds crazy but why not ??? )
- Jerseys got tucked out during the games due to shirt pullings etc.
- Dirty clothes ( eyecandy feature, but a little eyecandy is okaY )
- Snowy weather, and players wearin` gloves durin` that.
- Give the playmaker some respect, sometimes Zidane made four brilliant assists in a game, but since he was not scoring, in the overall ratings he only got 6.0.
- Multi language support. It`s time for Konami not only to think Japanese, but also globally. One edition only, I don`t wanna wait for some months for an English version or a translated patch.

and Mighty Tic there is another way to pass to a player further away and this is using the Right Analog Stick(Default, I dont know if u can change it)

But if you hold down the right analog stick and AIM to the place u want the ball to go, than it will be passed that way. Of course the longer u hold down the Analog button the further the pass. ACTUALLY this is the same way that FIFA world cup 2002 was like. THIS IS VERY HARD TO MASTER and I myself have trouble trying to do it.

Yup, I heard that refereeing has been tremendously improved in WE7i edition. But I got so many WE`s ( originals and those patched from the internet ), I don`t have the funds to buy the WE7i edition That shows that Konami cares and listen to critics. If it was EA, they probably gonna give the referees new teeth and call `em enhanced referees . . .

My wishes are:
1) Be able to change the kits in a way that you can play in a home shirt and away short or vice versa. Just like it used to be in ISS.
2) Instead of showing the scores of the other matches at half time why not show them when you're playing. This could change the way you play in Cup matches etc.

I think that nobody talk about this and maybe is because i am the only player that get fustrated about this simple thing, and that is that the keeper take to much time to kick the ball or throw with hand and thats wrong because if they do it faster it add you the opportunity of a killer counter attack.

Me gustaria que los arqueros saquen mas rapido del arco, ya se pateando la pelota o pasandosela a algun jugador con la mano (este pase con la mano podria contar tambien con una barra de potencia) para lograr asi si existe la posibilidad, crear un contrataque que encuentre a los rivales desarmados en el fondo, esto podria servir por ejemplo tras un corner en contra como en muchas otras ocaciones.

Otra innovacion que se me ocurre y que creo que deberia estar en el juego porque existe en las reglas del futbol es que se amoneste por hacer tiempo y que si el arquero demora mucho en sacar del arco, que se cobre tiro libre desde donde el arquero estaba situado, estas dos cosas pasan en la realidad asi que siendo redundante, esto agregaria realismo al juego.

Tambien por otro lado me gustaria que se puedan hacer entrenamientos del equipo e individuales, con objetivos que se vayan dificultando a medida que los logramos batir. Logrando pasar estos objetivos nos mejoraria el juego de equipo o la tecnica del jugador (tratandose de entrenamiento individual) tambien en el entrenamiento individual se pueden poner objetivos que requieran de fuerza y esto si nos emocionamos podria probocar la lesion del jugador, cosas que lamentablemente pasan en la realidad. Esto nos obligaria a jugar mas con nuestras reservas y no hacerlo siempre con aquellas estrellas que conseguimos tras juntar muchos puntos para la compra..... tendriamos asi que tener una plantilla mucho mas extensa ya que tendriamos que acarriar con el cansansio de los jugadores, las amonestaciones o expulsiones, las lesiones en partidos y las de los entrenamientos.

and national career mode.
Call up players etc.. watch matches
observe particular player etc..


and players not in a national team must get callups;increasing abilities(like experience,etc..)
When playing well(score>7.5) abilities increases a bit(not just young players having ablities increased).
'this will enable slow players to become quicker etc..(must play very well though in a match to increase).

it would be nice (especially for patchmakers) if we could have the ability to add teams to the existing ones (instead of replacing them). and same thing with boots, kits, balls, stadiums etc...
