I've got a pretty high spec PC and it's not smooth. I've tried everything - The problem must be the Ti4200 graphics card. (or it could be a soundcard issue which Ill try tonight)

I can run halflife2 on high detail perfectly.
I could run PES3 **PRE PATCH** perfectly

Specs:

P4 2.8ghz hyperthreaded
1 Gig Dual Channel Memory
Geforce Ti4200 128mb Graphics card

Should be fine. Shouldn't it? :(

Yes i can 100% guarantee it's a bad conversion from ps2 to pc... my friend is a game programmer and he knows the fact that konami is not experienced in pc games.

regarding those of you that have G4 Ti4200/4400/4600 cards.. i think the reason for not running smoothly at 60+mhz refresh rates even at lowest resolution is b/c the card is not 100% DX9 compatible.. it supports DX8.1.. which is sort of a compromise. so i think pes4 requires graphic cards that 100% support DX9

Well, you don't need to be a programer to know that, just a PES PC player.. hehe..

Anyway i think they should hire a group of few people who know something about computers and do a nice optimization of the code, make some computer related bugs to disappear etc..damn, is it so expensive or what is Konami thinking?

I'll just return the game back to the store because i can't enjoy it with all the bugs crawling out of my screen and my sound card..
Then, if they do a nice patch to fix this things, i may buy it again...

Do you send email to Konami ??? Because I would like know if Konami is making new patch, and if this patch release soon.

Yes, it was true a DirectX 8.1 game if its not DirectX 8.0 and it is a STRAIGHT (yes, no reprogram for "special" PC use...) CONVERSION from the PS2 version. PS2 cant handle Dx 9.0 instructions, they are similar to Dx7.0 instruction (on PS2 machine), so there will be on ly slower performance if u manage to push it in Dx9 use (via radlinker, or others 3dtools) without any enhancement in quality.

It is right on the header of their pes4.exe program if U disasembling them , u can see the licence agreement of using the DirectX 8.0 modul.

So use pixel shader max at 1.4 n vertex at 1.1 in your radlinker to play the game, it will make less complicated to your PC to read the DirecX instructions.

Hope it'll help... o yea n nevermind Truform etc..

PS:bout the bad grass, it is a 'built-in' anisothropic for this game...its emulation so its slow...

The game work fine for me, no slowdon yet, n I only have 9600XT with less than good other parts...

Actually I just bought a GF6800 card, and it's still not "right". Better yes, but not right.

PRE PATCHED PES3 = PERFECT
Everything else since = :(

Starting XI
I got a 2ghz Gateway
Upgraded to
1 gig Ram
256MB ATI Radeon Graphics Card

Everything works beautifully except the opening movie which I've never seen cause it always locks up my game.
