PES 4 Patch 1.10

hey guys, when i downloaded it from the internet, i tried installing it...it installs but after like 2 seconds it says

failed installation...


then i can only click ok

i am running windows xp

i tried downloading a different patch file but it didnt work

i also tried reinstalling the game, but still same problem

does anyone know how they can help me?

I had the same problem, but I after it said failed I copied over a version 1.1 NO-CD and I think it worked? Actually I'm not sure?

Can 1.0 systems play games versus 1.1? Is there any way to tell which version is installed? I was looking for a version number on the intro screen but I didn't see anything.

start the game in window mode to see the version number.

and i think you need to have the original pes4.exe in order to install the 1.10 patch.

I have an orginal exe but I have same problem...

Has 1.10 patch changed only PES4.exe file ??
If it has, we just need to copy NO CD PES4.exe ??

no, it modifies some .afs files, too. or am i wrong?

I found after I installed it that I had 2 PES4.EXE shortcuts on my desktop (had 1 already). I tried them both and they game still ran fine so I just deleted 1.

I myself also found that if you hung around when its your pen then the cpu kicks it. I don't know if this is the patch or what but I don't hang around any more!

I think the cpu takes the penalties if you leave too long before pressing any button.

This is without any patches applied
