PES 2008 is out on PC!

what about the resolution settings..i cant get 1280x1024 in the full game..any ideas?

No, just 640x480, 800x600 and 1024x768, with this specs:

Intel Core Duo E6750 ~2.66GhZ
XFX Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS 320mb
2gb OCZ DDR2/800MhZ
22' Samsung 226bw with resolution of 1680x1050

But there is no widescreen... so no 1680x1050. The only part of PES that sucks now... Have to play it windowed.

man this is just stupid, i have changed the game settings in my pes 2008, made my face, played 5 games in ML and then i restarted my PC. Now every time i start the game my settings dissapears. what to do? i saved my settings from in game "save data" bla bla but every time i restart my PC my settings are gone so i have to start everything all over and is very frustrating. anybody else has this problem? sorry again for my english, hope you understood what i was trying to say. cheers!

I have exactly the same problem and for the life of me I don't have a clue as to whats going on. I've tried almost everything I can think of, to no avail.

Not to mention the constant slowdowns/framedrops in any resolution/level detail, especially in stadiums like the Bernabeu. On both Vista and XP, on PC's that should be perfectly capable of handling the spec needs of this game. The funny thing is that sometimes (rarely!) the game just runs ok... for one match! If I try to play again with the same teams, on the same venue the horrid framedrops appear again.

This game is so damn bugged! Shame on Konami!

i have found the solution to "not saving settings, faces etc" on other forum: you must have a controller (gamepad) and you must set it in Settings as controller 1. then start the game and is all there anyway not being able to choose kits before a ML match is a stupid idea + other many bugs not to mention the mega speed of the game. i like the game, great graphics but generally i'm disapointed. hope new programs like kitserver will come out and solve some of the mistakes konami did.

Thanks a lot. I remember I once saw this Big Bug (alias "PES2008") saving and autoloading the settings when I had my G25 connected on the PC. But I didn't think it'd be that simple, hehe.

Now I only have to find a way to make the play run smoothly on EVERY venue (which seems rather impossible).

Is there any way that I can play without having to load all the system settings every time, provided that I have only a keyboard...? (e.g. are there any simulators/emulators that can simulate keyboard entries as gamepad entries?)

I don't think so, but i'm looking forward to a solution to this bug too, cause if i want to play with my friends i must set controller 1 the keyboard, and so the settings and everything else are gone and is so
