Hey this is for people who live in India,
Can you guys tell me what football replica equipment is easily available there? I know there are Nike, Adidas etc outlets, do they sell team jerseys, caps, t-shirts etc? If they do, about how much do they cost?

Yeah, they sell everything in those shops. I even saw some cool Ferrari sneakers when I was browsing them. I think an authentic Manchester United shirt costs around Rs. 800 from a Nike store, so around 20 U.S. dollars, if my dubious memory serves me correctly. However, if you want a cheaper but not-so-genuine-and-worse-material type of shirt, you can get it for about one-quarter the price there too. Just look around in some marketplaces and you should find them. You can also find other teams' jerseys, like Inter Milan, AC Milan, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, etc. I don't think caps should be a problem either. You can get some very good stuff fairly cheap in India, especially in major cities like Bombay, Delhi, etc.

Hi indian lads...

Anyway nowadays football is gaining its popularity in India(slowly) so you can get the Kits of top Euro teams in major cities of India.There cost ranges from 700-1200.There are some cool caps,fantasy football club shirts too.

On the other hand You'll find a Indian Cricket team jersey at every big and small shop for just some rupees

hey thanks guys,
my dad's just left for india, so i gave him a big list of football stuff to bring. . 20usd for a jersey is soooo cheap, here its almost 90 if you get numbering and badges. hopefully he'll be able to get some of them. I dunno if he will going to big cities like delhi,bombay. biggest one he might go to is hyderabad maybe chennai. do you guys konw the availability of football stuff there?

Hyderabad and Madras(Chennai) are still big-ish cities, and I'm 99% sure that he'll be able to find jerseys quite easily there too. However, I haven't been to either Hyderabad or Madras in a loooong time.

my friend bought me a brasil shirt for 1300...
from a nike showroom there..its available in delhi as well...

I went to a shop (in Mumbai) . they had the Original Man Utd jersey . not the other normal jerseys . That jersey's cost was Rs 4200 !(84 $ ) . In the Adidas & nike showrooms(in Mumbai) , Germany and France's(and many others)jersey were available for Rs 3000-3500 !

my cousin got back from a europe tour and he thought about buying me a FC PORTO jersey but he said it was around 70-80 Euros... which is around 4000 Rs... so when u consider my friend buying me a kit for 1300... its alright

btw the badge on the shirt makes it expensive...

hey thanks for the info guys, dad got me a blue man utd shirt. another thing though, can i get numbering and lettering done? do the nike, adidas stores do numbering themselves? or are there other stores that do it?
