The battery hasn't gotten worse, everything that the phone is doing is just much more battery intensive.

If you got a good phone, and only used it for what you can use your current phone (disabling the rest), the battery would be fine


I barely realized that when I changed the SIM card to the S2 for the work line. Now it lasts three days with minimum use. Normally I couldn't get more than 8 hours out of it when it was my main phone. The Note 2 has awesome battery life, though. I can make it last a full day with extreme use and two days with medium usage.

I agree with that, it would save me $30 a month. Can't stand the fact that I have to forcibly pay a minimum $30 for data package if I am to have these new phones. Everywhere I use data, I have WiFi access, which makes the data package redundant.
