You are right. With just three directions the penalty kick system is simply useless and nothing like what it is in real life. For example, in earlier FIFA games, u had the following directions: both top corners, both bottom corners, up and down. That was still insufficient. In ISSPro Evolution 2, a game released in 2001, the penalty system is light years ahead of anything FIFA has ever done. You may choose the right direction but how long u keep the dive button depressed determines how far u will dive. So, u could dive in the right direction and still not be able to get ur hands on the ball. U also had more directions to choose from.

You have NO IDEA. EA were resting on their laurels because THEY COULD. There was no competition. But no longer. With WE/ISS spreading across the entire globe like the damn Ebola virus, EA is well and truly screwed. Footie gamers across the globe now realize what a REAL soccer game is supposed to be like. Unless there are drastic, and I mean DRASTIC, changes to the next installment of FIFA, I'm very happy to say that EA will be in a hole so deep, they won't be able to climb out...

Do EA even look at this forum? Maybe we are all wasting are time cause i dont think they care about are veiws. just a thought.........
