Actually no Chelsea fan ever said that at all. Its wierd how some people make a fact out of fiction.

They existed to make more money for the member clubs at the expense of the smaller clubs.
There is no room for a bunch of self appointed elitists in football. Football and all its advantages should be there for all clubs, rich and poor. I have always said that I would never want Chelsea to join G14, and people would joke," You say that because Chelsea are not invited in ". Well they were invited in but declined I am happy to say. For that, I am very proud of my club.
If chelsea and/or Kenyon had even the smallest input into the destruction of G14 then that is great. Then to have Kenyon as the head of the new association is both irony and comedy combined.
Member clubs fans are gutted because now, there will be a level playing field for all. No more advantages to the "big" boys any more. Everone will be treated the same. That is democratic and that is right.
These fans are trying to accept this humiliation by reasoning that G14 had achieved all it set out to do. That is so stupid. G14 was meant to exist for ever. They had big plans for all the member clubs. Plans that they never will, or indeed never could bring about.
Oh yeah they talked big alright and threw their muscle around, but when they were finally stood up to, and told that they would be exempt from all UEFA competitions if they persisted to exist, then they bottled it big time.
