not a great review guys. the reviewer thought that first touch feature was not too good. said that you create space then lose possession. he does not talk about the passing or shooting systems. sez that he hates the set pieces and that FIFA 2005 is not good tactically.

Does he think first touch is meant to work all the time?

Also, I doubt he's given the game much of a go. If he has got the final copy (which I doubt) then he hasn't played it enough to give it a proper score. I think he's taken the "oh, it's FIFA... must be **** then" attitude.

well Gamepro have given it 90% and PSM Magazine has given it 80%. So i wouldnt read too much into that review!

Well no wonder he has that attitude and does it matter whether he likes the game or not...

its a pretty useless review. he does not talk about the actual playing side of FIFA 2005 apart from the first touch feature.

do you mean this pc zone?

http://www.pczone.co.uk/

coz they didn't mention FIFA 2005 in their "Previews" or "Reveiws" section...

or you meaned
http://www.pczone.nl/
but they didn't mention any word about it too

link man, link

I can say now that PC Computer Football and Soccer Games Magazine gave new FIFA 22.8%, no link, no proof, no talk :mrpimp: (H)

I don't think the link is out yet. PC Zone is a magazine that can be bought, so I think it's published in the magazine well before it's put on the internet... otherwise no one would buy the magazine.

And if you want I can prove that you don't score the same goal again and again in FIFA. All of my goals are different. If you are scoring the same goal over and over you are not going to get very far in professional or world class modes.

if the reviewer played fifa 2004 i wouldnt wonder why he gave Fifa 2005 such a low score...

1. The "first touch system" gets repetitive and for my taste, it doesnt adds much to the game..

2. The set pieces (corner kicks, free kicks) are still so lame and give you no choice of what to do besides shooting (no passing, centering etc) , and sometimes you are forced to shoot without angle...

3. Goal keepers are still lame, in the first match, Henry scored a 40 meter free kick shot with ease, and Crespo scored from 30 meters away...

4. The game still feels bugged by the animations...

5. Penalties!!, why tha hell can't u aim to the top center, it always goes to the low center.

6. The ball still flies like 300 km / h on every shot...

As far as I am concerned about someone's review or preview (I never read any) of a game, that I HAVE played myself (or at least, a demo of it), all I can say as an advice is, guys, just don't give a f.u.c.k about it. Because we all have different points of view about many things (not only about games), and many times we don't care about others' thought about stuff.
And sometimes it's easier for us to bash a game that has been insulted and bashed for many years than to change that point of view that we have been carrying all this time.

I would give the demo a 85%.
But I'm pretty sure the whole game will get more than that from me.
