Ok, so I've been playing the demo, and it's the first FIFA I've played since 07, and I had to change some of the controls so they fit what I was used to. But I see that there are some things that don't work, and it's either because the buttons for them were changed (very likely) or that they were eliminated from the game (less likely). So I have a few questions about controls.
Btw, I'm using the Keyboard only. The Mouse would take too long to get used to.
1. How do I do an elevated through-ball (It used to be that pressing the W, through-ball button at the same time as Q would do it, but it doesn't work now)
2. How do I cancel the player-running when I do a simple pass? Unless I pass with a through-ball, the player starts joining the attack, regardless of who he is, even the GK. It's frustrating when I want a player to keep his position but can't have the player I'm passing to run onto it. In past versions you could activate the player running with Q, but they do it automatically now, and another bad thing about it is that if I immediately want to pass the ball to someone else, it goes to the player who just passed. Very frustrating, especially in Be a Pro because the player just starts running and doesn't stop. How the **** do I cancel it, or stop it from happening all-together?
3. Dribbles. The PC is constantly doing these amazing dribbles, but I'm restricted to very basic stuff. Probably because I just dunno how to do them, any help?
4. How do you do the different kinds of shots? I think there are 4, right? Normal, chip, side-footed and precision. I think the precision is done with the Z button, side-footed with the Left Shift, but I dunno how to do the chip shot. Any help?
5. Occasionally when the ball goes out of play for one reason or another, a short message is displayed, like 'Quick throw-in', how do I activate it? Enter?
