In Version 14.06.2015 the CPU is way too aggressive for me. The CPU receives 3 yellow cards in average and makes fouls all the time (but the ref isn't punishing every aggressive tackling/foul which is very frustrating).

In 08.06.2015 (the last one I've tried) the CPU wasn't aggressive at all, but in the current version it's definetly too much.

Really? Because I don't see many fouls at all.

What other mods are you using? Modding way? Some other DB?

What are your sliders?

What game mode and league are you playing?

1) Yes, I'm using ModdingWay with Database 6.0 (without Matrix!)

Even in the box the CPU makes sometimes really stupid sliding tackles resulting in a penalty. Maybe it's just me!? :D

I also play with ModdingWay (db 6 matrix) and not known so many fouls and yellow cards ...

Lately many gameplay patch are coming out in the network, but no one is managed to implement the long shots of the cpu...

Hmm sounds to me you have a combination that makes this happen. Can't say I have the same experience. Personally I wouldn't mind the stupid tackles ;)

I have made another release, you should see much better/smarter build up play now. I REALLY need to try and solve the tackles issue though.

Nice, hope it fixes up that accurate passes and backhell passes by the CPU as well as the tackles.

I played few games with the new gameplay patch and I don't know if it's just me but the game is really pacey with the new patch. I noticed you tweaked off the ball movement for both the User and the CPU and while it's better than before, I think it's still a bit faster than how it should be although I like the fact that there is more freedom when it comes to off the ball control. I noticed another problem which is major on my books. It seems that the new patch lost a bit of difference between good dribblers and bad dribblers which I am pretty sure you know about. Finally, I think this patch is taking the right direction in terms of defending. It's a lot more fluid now and it's getting there.

For me the CPU build up play is sometimes a little bit too fast. Besides it feels like the movement of CPU players are faster than before.

Did you tweak the ball physics? Because it feels way better shooting and passing. Moreover the aggressive CPU sliding tackles are gone for me :D Sometimes the CPU players are pushing me too hard, so my player falls down, but this is very nice I think.
Furthermore the CPU crossing is improved.

Currently I'm playing on World Class, but with the current version (16.06) is definetly too difficult for me :D (but this fact is good!).

Edit: Important thing to mention: I'm playing now with ModdingWay Database 6.0, but with a little change in DB. I've set all values in MatchIntensity table to "1", so no team can take advantage of some scripting depending on the results - it's all the time the same value.

The latest Version is really very good.Cpu tends to have more shots. but the problem is user players not responding properly when the ball is in air,always the cpu team player gets the ball. is it only for me?
can somebody share the Best slider settings for the current version.. Please!!

I too would like to know who played sliders,Whenever the change but I never find the right settings ...

The gameplay is really good , the cpu is very human now!
But I find it too little incisive level legend? I suffer not ever goal ...:fuck:
The cross of the cpu are improved but still not perfect .
I really like the responsiveness of my players !

Paul if I wanted more shots from distance cpu , just that I copy and paste part of the " objective system" from cl.ini of 12 June ?

I would not do that.

You will lose the through passes and it will start playing quick 1-2 passes all the time.

The objective system (for some reason) enables through passes and long passes.

If you want to try it out anyway all you need to do is set:

No it is not only you my friend, there is definitely a bug somewhere.

Thanks Paul ! So it is perfect for me !!

The CPU is much more aggressive with these parameters set off and I prefer it!

The only thing that is lost is a reactivity of my players . :-(

Otherwise, the CPU plays really good and varied . ;-)

I think Paul you've got the gameplay as close to perfect as the ini will allow. Thanks for that. The only thing left I can think of is trying to find a way of getting the cpu to be less aggressive defensively without sacrificing through balls. I feel like the cpu is just way too up in my grill. Its not hard to beat but it makes the game play to quick. You never really have a chance to build play and instead just have to play counters a majority of the time. At least thats how it feels for me. Cheers.

How can I increase CPU's fouls with your 12 Jun version??
Is there anything I can do with cl.ini ?

Sorry Remington. My recent NIGHTLY files have not included the career mode stuff.

If you goto the SkyDrive link once again I have created a new folder called "Career Mode Files". Copy the folders in there to your FIFA 15 folder. These are my most recent files, they are nothing fancy but it is very stable.

I don't use any db but my sliders are geared toward aleviating that pressure. I put their marking very low but it doesn't seem to work. Like if I am at a standstill with the ball at my feet for more than one second then the computer is running at me full sprint launching a sliding tackle. Must be something to it, ill continue to tweak sliders. Anyway I'm just glad I can enjoy the game man, seriously thanks. You take donations?

Edit: I somehow managed to mess up a quote but I wont bother trying to fix it lol

Hi Paul,

Going to test this as I'm feeling unsatisfied with the current gameplay.

Which difficulty setting would you recommend? Professional?

EDIT: Well, I played a full match of this in PM on Professional, controlling Harry Pell (Cheltenham vs Tranmere) and it wasn't too bad. Using Jun 16 edition.

I had reservations within the first 5 minutes when Tranmere were pinging it about for fun and we couldn't get close. They started well and hammered us until Baggie was sent off for them on 27 minutes (2 bookings). Little aggressive maybe? He only made 2 tackles and both were bookings.

We took control and ended up winning 4-1.

Few things I noticed:

- Contrasting styles of play. We knocked long balls forward and Tranmere kept it down. I like that.
- AI were constantly doing flimsy tricks and feint passes and at one point, backheeled across their own box. Whats that about? This is a league game, not a friendly!
- Long shots were being fired in from both teams which was sadly lacking in my old gameplay mod.
- First touch was too good. I was playing with players lvl 54-63 and they were taking it out of the sky too efficiently. A couple of times it ended up 2-3 yards infront of the player but, generally, it shouldn't be that precise.

I don't know if what I've noticed is down to your mod or hardcoded into the game. Just sending my report in.
