well Beckham earned Real about 100million € this year with marketing (number out of my ass ;)), i doubt Vieira will have the same marketing impact.

Beckham came to Madrid cause 35€ million, Madrid is offering 30 for Vieira

Anyway is stupid compare Beckham and Vieira cause Beckham is a special player, when u buy Beckham u buy more than a football player.

I have never been convinced Vieira is the answer to Real's problems. I think they are too hopeful for a "quick fix" which will magically pull them from 4th to 1st, and I don't think one player, or even two with Vieira and Samuel, will do it. They're still going to have to play Beckham to justify his purchase even if he plays like sh!te which is a distinct possibility. Figo and Zidane are all a year older, Ronaldo is probably a few pounds heavier, and there's still no chemistry.

Assuming Arsenal gets 35M, no way Maniche will go for that high a price, who do they go after with the rest of the money?
