The Biggest Newspaper in Sweden says that Paolo Maldini will join Italys EC squad.
He will only talk to Trapattoni first, but after the league last game.

If Maldini does go back to playing for the Azzurri would he take back the captains armband? Would Cannavaro give it up? Would Trap pick Maldini to be captain? I sorta doubt that this would happen but its possible...

The commentator of a recent Milan match said that Cannavaro and Nesta both personally talked to Maldini and tried to persuade him to rejoin the Azzurri, but someone was not pleased, it was Matteo Ferrari haha

and he also the best captain, but i cant speak for the captains i havnt seen
