Pantera guitarist Dimebag Darrell killed in on stage shooting

I'm real pissed off at this. Pantera were a huge influence on my life when i was about 14/15. I used to listen to them every day on the bus to and from school.

When i saw the headlines i was absolutely gutted.

How on earth did the guy get in with the gun?? I thought security was a major issue in the US???

I'm glad the police shot him dead. F-ing wanker!!

oh my... i'm not feeling well dudes... a friend of mine told me that a famous guitar player had died... but man, not the Dimmebag!

i've been looking up to this guy for ages, along with Pantera! I shake everytime I hear "Cowboys From Hell", "Domination" and "Cemetary Gates"...

This is the most tragic news I've had in recent times....

I've been listening to "Domination" and "101 Proof" in memory of him.

Sad thing is that we may never no the motive of the killer. Although it is alleged that the murderer reckons Dimebag stole his image and lyrics.

Extremely sad news. Not particularly fan of metal, but as a music fan in general Dimebag had a big influence on the shaping of rock music in the 90's.

The gunman's motive is apparently becuase he blamed Dimebag for breaking up Pantera, he shouted "You broke up Pantera" shortly before he shot him

Sad week for music, first this and now James Brown's got prostate cancer
