What is the best way or situation to use Pace Control in?

Obviously when defending, but how does it effect the defense as a whole?

I've found that using pace control right before shooting is particularly helpful if you have the time. I also use it when a midfielder gets the ball on a clearance if he has to wait for the rest of the team to catch up and get ahead of him; he just kind of sits there while they run ahead.

Defensively I use it to jockey for position; on the 360 in particular, it seems to really help out with tackling.

Say, for example, you're a RB and some LWM is tearing down the field and takes an angle into the box; if I'm between him and the ball, I'll jockey for position to stay between him and the goal. I'm not really committing to the ball yet, but I'm also cutting off his angles, which helps.
