Arghh.Kinda crazy but read this. I was puttin my cats to sleep. I got the baby one to sleep on me and then i will put her on her bed. When i grabbed her zidane goal. I've gone to my room to tell father. Then i returned and say Pupa (my cat) come here. Grabbed her and the commentary says : IT'S PENALTY!! YES PENALTY!! Lucky cat.
France shall say a big thankz to pupa.

I don't think France were that impressive, England defended well as a unit but the difference between these teams is the ability to get a result. Zidane really proved to be one of the greats with just two kicks.

France will need to improve in the coming games, England just need to get over this and they will do fine in the group stage. I just hope the English "fans" don't destroy the city of Lisbon.

What a beautiful penalty by Zidane. It was struck with such pace and accuracy, into the side of the net....true class under such pressure.

Showed up Beckham with his rather average penalty strike, just left of centre and easy height to save. I could have done that.

i suppose useless backpasses like that happen every week i am just very annoyed truly i dont blame anyone i blame the teams dreadful last 2 minutes defending and before you go around calling me an idiot put yourself in my shoes and watch your player play that awful backpass but it shows that we didnt deserve the win and well done to france and yes see you in the final

Putting my impartial hat on for a minute England got beat in a terribly unlucky way BUT;

1. They did miss a penalty
2. France were pounding England for most of the match

and finally

3. Don't get so uptight about the other UK fans not supportig England m8. It's rivalry, It's football, IT'S FABULOUS!
