Fergie's comments after the game:
Arsenal out of the title race
"I think they are. Whoever lost had no chance of the title and I believe that today."
Team spirit
"We came from behind twice, which I think shows the measure of the team in terms of character and determination. There's no wimps in my team, and they showed that tonight. It was a fantastic performance by them.
"We had the mental strength, I wouldn't say it was superior, but on the night we were fantastic in terms of determination and will to win. And, of course, we played some great attacking football at times."
Arsenal's first home league defeat at Highbury in two years
"I think that's a measure of the performance. It's not easy I suppose, with the crowd behind them and you could say there was a bit of play-acting going on, but the lads stood up to that."
Pre-match tunnel fracas
"I've heard some different stories. Patrick Vieira was apparently threatening some of our players and things like that, so he was well wound up for it!"
Fingers crossed for a Chelsea slip
"We could win every game and not win the title, it's as simple as that. Chelsea need 11 wins from 14 I think, so it's a great postition they're in. The most important thing is that we showed we're in great form ourselves. On that form, we must have a chance if they slip up. But they have to slip up."
