thats pretty wack for Liverpool and Owen....they need him as much as possible b/c they definitly need to move up the table in the EPL....if not there gonna have to win the Uefa Cup to get in the CL

it just gets better and better doesnt it? henchoz, hamann, baros, carra, dioufy (coming african nations month), and now owen. season's been blighted by injuries to key personnel and every frigging time we have an owen-baros owen-pongolle owen-kewell partnership starting to catch fire, someone has to go and get crocked leaving a certain emile husky to start despite his worse-than-my-nan's godawful form on the pitch.

i'll pay anyone 5 snicker bars if ya'd take him away permanently

I know how you feel, bro. We've been plagued with horrible injury's as well, which is why we're having such a horrible season. At least your captain isn't injured. :(

yikes..i was just reading about yer latest game, shame with the injuries et al :( having yer cap'n out would deffo be a huge blow especially when the rest of the team needs that stabilizing influence in times like this.

crikey, i just realized steve finnan is out for a month as well. that makes it backline of diao (midfielder), biscan (maradona), hyypia (thank god) and djimi traore :|

Liverpool suffering does not makes me sad in any way shape or form, but its pretty bad how the season has gone and a lot of it has to do with injuries...reminds me of Roma last year and terrible way the season started off....on paper i think the team can win almost any game they play but injuries really hurt you guys...also i dont watch liverpool much and dont know how they play but it seems like a lot of people dont really think the coach is doing a great job...but i know nothing about the team so maybe you guys can fill me in on what the problems are (besides injuries)

well.. the gaffer has started to change our way of playing this season from a more defensive minded team to a more offensive minded team, as it is a transition time, we created tons of chances but we are also guilty of not taking our chances, at the same time we are giving away goals like never before, so the gaffer is still trying to find the right balance between attack and defence... but the injuries problems has really taken it's toll on the whole team.....:kader:

is right.

besides its grossly unfair to place the blame solely on the gaffer when he's never had the chance to put out his best eleven for an extended period. that doesnt take away the fact that its the last chance saloon for the gaffer this season but circumstances arent making it anywhere possible or realistic to obtain the results which we justifiably couldve gotten.

i will say the Idea of Owen and Cisse together is pretty scary...i myself would like Cisse to come to Roma b/c he is the type of striker we need but ive read him say he wants to play for liverpool so you guys have the leg up and everyone else....the pace and talent of Owen and the power and talent of Cisse would work very well...

@budge: aye..saw it on sky too. im sure ged wont let it slip. i hope not by the way. he looks a smashing defender the times ive caught him. would solve our defensive frailties in on fell swoop me thinks
