Overall Best Player

Please can someone tell me how they got Overall Best Player in the ML in either the league or the Cup competitions.

No matter what I do, I just can't get enough points compared to other players. I had a match against Everton where Ronaldo had a hat-trick and Kevin Kilbane scored one goal. When the game ended Ronaldo was rated 7.0 and Kilbane got a 7.5. What gives?

Similarly my goalie conceded the least goals yet his avg. rating is on 5.9 over the season.

Any ideas pls?

The ratings are 100% fake tbh.

I have had someone score 5 goals and assist 1 and only get a 7.5, yet people who score 1 get a 7.5.

Its like whoever scores the last goal gets a definate 7.5, and the game seems to think assists are better than goals, so my guess is, if you want a 10 you must score about 5 goals and assist 7.

People say they have 10's on a regular basis, all I can say is bollocks, played PES4 for ages and I have never once had anything over 8, and I only have seen an 8 about 3 times.

Plus sometimes my defenders have like a 7 rating after touching the ball 3 times, yet my strikers who touch it about 30+ times and has a ton of good shots, gets a 6.5.

I aint got a clue what KONAMI were thinking when they made this rating system.

The game is programmed so that Thierry Henry wins every player award going. It's because he helped advertise the game. I can't wait until he retires in my ML, maybe I'll stand a chance of winning an award.

The total goals & assists lists are even more ridiculous.. Ronaldo scores 40 goals every season for Real

the rating system (i find) totally bums wing-backs

i once scored 5 goals with Owen, and he got a 6.0, and Gary Neville with no assists got 8.5

The thing is I seem to remember seeing posts about people getting 'Overall Best Player' or getting their players into the top five 'CFs/ MFs/ DFs/ GKs. Wonder how they do that considering most of us have trouble figuring out why someone who scores 3 or 5 goals get less points than someone on the losing team who scored nothing or just had one assist.
