Opponents fatigue

I've played about 5 games into my firt season and I'm noticing that all the players on the opponents team seem to start the game with almost 10% energy whereas my players are beginning with 100%.

Is the CPU not changing the first team to put in fit players or is this just a bug?

Yes, if my players are fatigued then I will bring in someone to replace them for that game.

The CPU doesn't seem to replace tired players with fresh players so every game I play against the CPU from game 9-10 onwards in my season, the players are starting almost exhausted.

Not much competition when your playing fit players against tired unfit ones.

Surely this must be a terrible bug for EA to overlook this?

The funny thing is that the commentator starts saying almost immediately at the start of the match that he's not sure how much longer the player will last since he's so exhausted.

Nope, actually i think not much difference if you rotate or not or keep your players full energy or not.

Because when you don't rotate, although their energy is less, they will have increased momentom, another decisive catocaory while chosing players...Well, you can try out not rotating and start with tired players if you want to know how much of a difference it is.

So does energy not really have any effect on your team then?

I just checked and most of the CPU teams seem to play their first 11 almost exclusively and play maybe about 8-9 other players as substitutes.

So basically their first XI must get completely worn out as I can see when I look at their energy levels during the games.

I've tried playing on legendary level and its the same thing that happens..the CPU plays it's first XI almost all the time.

I know Rafa Benitez didn't develop this game because their is absolutely no rotation policy with the CPU controlled teams at all.

I hope this isn't giving me an unfair advantage over the CPU.

IF you player is overworked than he might get injured on an easy tackle. If your player is still growing than let him play fatigued because it will help him. Let fatigued player come on as subs rather than start the match. They will carry their momentum when they come into the pitch.

How can check that? Besides, if I had the caliber of players that Liverpool lhas then yes, I will be doing some rotation. My team FC Groningen, has no one to rotate! What take an below avergae player and put in even belower average player?

Thank god for transfer market but even then...its not a rich club so I can only get very mediocre players!

You can play it without rotation, rotation is not nesesary, wait till you get till later in the game then buy more players and rotate.

You can check it from the player stats menu. This will give the stats for every player from every team playing in your league.

You'll notice that for all the CPU teams it's usually the top starting 11 that are playing almost all the games. The other 8-9 players after that get some games but these are only because they are coming on as substitutes or replacing injured players.

Almost all the time it's the same starting 11 players in each and every match.

This is for the most part quite unrealistic I think.

I've searched all over the net in various forums and cannot find anyone else who has noticed this really obvious issue with the CPU management of their teams in Owner mode.

I just played my 5th game of the season against Derby county and every single one of their players were completely drained of energy as the match started, because Derby insisted on playing the same first 11 for 5 games in a row, therefore they had no sprint capability and I could easily catch them and won easily.

I had to make some changes to my team as a few of them had played 5 matches straight and were low on energy levels.

I find it amazing that other people have not noticed this issue as it really ruins the game when you know every team your playing against has zero energy to play against you...kinda feels like your cheating.

I suppose I could also play the same 11 for 50 or so straight games like the CPU teams to try and make it more fair.

Is nobody else shocked by this buggette or is it just me?
