Opening TCP/IP Ports

In the Game manual on page 13 it says that such and such a port has to be open to be able to play online.

How do i open the ports?

you need to opet these ports only if you have a router connected to your PC in a local network (with other computer/s at your own home..)

depending on your router/ethernet modem setup you have to go into its flash rom settings, usually you'll have an icon but if not try opening your web browser and typing in 10.0.0.2.this should give you access to your modems control panel., go into the virtual server settings and it will ask you for public port, private port, weather or not its udp or tcpip and the local ip number.

sounds complex but its easy once youve done it once. i use a zoom x3 modem with 2 pcs runnin from it and have no trouble at all with the game online. took about a minute to set up. just type in the necessary numbers and away you go. this may seem confusing, i'll try to post some screen shots of what i mean later on !!!

Note that if you have a firewall and want to play online, the following TCP/IP ports must be open in the outbound direction:
HTTP 80 TCP/IP
HTTPS 443 TCP/IP
MsgConn/IM 13500-13599 TCP/IP
Roomsvr 26200-26299 TCP/IP


The following UDP ports must be opened for game packets, for the outbound and inbound connections
Game Packets 3658 UDP



i can't explain you how to open the ports, because here in israel only the company which is giving me my internet connection can access to my router configuration panel :\

find ur router and username/password for it and follow the instructions...



BUT THERE ARE SOME OF US :( who have company routers which means that there are no access to the control panel of the router...
