I am in USA , and I am very confused about alot of things, but mainly about how in the hell can I play this damn game? Please I need full details on playing it in the states! I am a complete ignoramis when it comes to mod chips etc.... so I need to be treated like a 10 yr old! Please give every detail from purchasing to playing! I must have this game and look forward to hearing from all of you who have the game!

Playing WE6 in USA

Hey koebs#7,

Take a look on the "ISS & PES" forum. There's quite a bit of discussion about how to play WE6 on a North American PS2, since PES is essentially WE6 for Europe. In a nutshell, you'll have to jump through a few hoops, but it's quite doable. I haven't ordered WE6 quite yet, but am going to do so in the next couple days.

I'm using a GameShark 2 demo disc ($0.99 :) + the "knife trick" spelled out at http://cousinfizz.4mg.com/ to play import PS1 games on my US PS2. Others have used the same combo to play WE6. You can get the game from hypergameaction.com, lik-sang.com, or other import game dealers. If you really want, you can also find the rh4ps0dy English language patch (http://www.winningeleven.mainpage.net/) for WE6, rip your original CD, patch it, and then burn a backup copy to play, with various menus and other text items translated from Japanese to English.
