I'm starting this thread because I'm sure there are other Olympiacos fans here, not just me.

Looking forward to this season for sure, very excited about having Nikopolidis on the team, I'm sure he will be solid in net. And hopefully we can go the whole season without changing our coach.

Also a question, who is Alexandre Dakol-Joaquim? You think this guy was worth getting?

Are you guys in the 3rd qualifying round for the CL or did you win the league and automatically make it in?

I know there are some more Steaua fans on here but they don't post very often :(.

I don't think any Greek team gets Automatic entrace into the Championsleague. I think the winner only does the last qualifying round.

Bosnian you are dumb, always the first team goes to champions league automatically. now is the 1st & 2nd goes automatically the 3rd goes to the 3rd qualiphying round. Anyways i am happy that Bajevic is back we really needed him, but i want new guys so far nothing.

I'm disappointed with the lack of signings this season, we haven't done anything good to boost the team yet (except for Nikopolidis).

So basically anyone who does not know Greek Soccer is dumb. Wow you win 1 tournament and think you are on top of the world.

looks the same as every other year........( are you sure its this year's kit....bc usually kits are anounce right before the start of the season in Greece)


but its nice that traditions are kept alive......the classic red and white thick stripe........can i post it in the league thread? is the away and alternate kit available too?

Yeah it is for sure the new kit. Olympiacos had a thing on their website that allowed all the members of the fan club to vote and choose the new kit for the 2004/05 season. It reminds me a lot of the 2000/01 seasons kit. There were some better designs, but I guess the people decided for tradition over inovation.

As for the away and alternates, no word yet. I guess they'll wait until they reveal those.

He's still on the team, and I'm sure that he will get playing time. Whether or not he will become one of the guaranteed starters on the lineup will depend on if he can show up and give consistent performances.
