ok, I'm an idiot, but I need help

Hi,
Just got PES6 and want to install new stadiums.
I got Kitserver and installed it, and it said it was ok but I'm confused.
I've read the manual but I don't find it clear. I think I've done something wrong.
How do you start Kitserver? Is there a shortcut you click?
Or does it run from in the game?

Can some one just give me a quick idiots guide to how to install the stadiums I've downloaded? From what I've read you put the new stadiums in the 'stadiums folder inside CProgram Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 6\kitserver\GDB\stadiums. I've done that but they don't show up in the game. Any ideas?

c'mon...someone must be able to help or ahve a clue.

From the manual it says"During the Strip Selection screen, you will see a text showing the currently selected stadium (or stadium mode"

I don't get that in the game, even though I've installed it all ok.
It seems that kitserver is not loading the stadiums I have in the CProgram Files\KONAMI\Pro Evolution Soccer 6\kitserver\GDB\stadiums. folder.

BTW: I've tried the same thing in XP and it still won't work, so it's not just Vista.

Maybe you didn't add the stadium server dll line in the ini file, so it's not loading it. Are the kits working?

Ok, let's see if this is the problem.

There's a file inside the kitserver folder called kload.cfg. Part of the code there should be:

DLL.num = 9
DLL.0 = "kitserver\zlib1.dll"
DLL.1 = "kitserver\libpng13.dll"
DLL.2 = "kitserver\kserv.dll"
DLL.3 = "kitserver\bserv.dll"
DLL.4 = "kitserver\fserv.dll"
DLL.5 = "kitserver\lodmixer.dll"
DLL.6 = "kitserver\dxtools.dll"
[B]DLL.7 = "kitserver\stadium.dll"[/B]
DLL.8 = "kitserver\bootserv.dll"

The first line "DLL.num = 9" count the number of dlls to be loaded. So, if starting from 0 to 8, you should have 9 and that's why there's a 9 there.

Two things can be happening if this is the problem.

First, the line bolded in the code may be missing, so you have to add a DLL.# = "kitserver\stadium.dll" in the code and then add a number in the DLL.num = # line.

Second, the line of the stadium.dll is there but it is in the end of the list and not being loaded because the first line (DLL.num = #) is not counting enaugh dlls. If so, the first line should be DLL.num = # + 1.

Finally, there's a chance you may not be using kitserver properly. In the Strip Selection screen, you should press the select button in order to navigate the different kitserver configuration options. You have all the information in the manual (1.4 Kitserver actions and hot-keys)

With your help I've sorted the problem out.
It was installed it's just that I had a weird configuration option for SELECT.
I did say I was an idiot
