Well its season 2004/2005... My Ipswich have been consistantly at the top 10 of the epl for 2 years... last year they were 4th!. But now im screwed 6 games in 18th... i have the following players... what should i do, i also have 33 million on me.

I'd say you need more big name players. Having great young stars that no-ones heard of is great and cheap but they don't raise your morale or reputation. Have a look round in your 'Player and Staff search for big money player who are interested. Try and find players who have been refused contracts or are unhappy so as to avoid un-nessecery expense. Also, don't forget to vary your tactics and formations or else the computer WILL crack them.

The biggest name player whos intersted is miroslav klose... but he isnt what i really need. and things juts got worse..i got owned by sunderland. I had a very effective tactic the previous 3 seasons but, a simple 4-3-1-2... with niki scoring loads of goals and being the epl player of the year, same with tsigalko who scored 25 and took young player...

Oh well. You need a more solid (and younger) defence. Try buying:

Irahim Said,
Eddie Pope,
David Livermoore.

Buy Steven Ried of Millwall.

Buy Emile Mpenza of Shalke

Buy Victor and Quique Martin of Villarreal.

If that still doesn't work reply and I'll try'n think of aomething else.

i suggest buy Jay Jay ockocha he is a real good mid he creates loads of goals.And look at buying Robbie Keane he is a player that can save you from relegation.Also look at Teddy lucic a good defender.If u buy these players you will stay in the prem certainly.

I think that more important then player changes, a tactic change is much more important. Im gonna guess that youve been playing with the same tactic for 4 years now, and that is ample time for the computer to crack it.
The most common symptom of that is losing games to lower clubs which is exactly whats happening to you.
Find another tactic that suits your players and you should be back to winning ways.

An investment is defenders such as ChelseaFan88 mentioned is probably needed as well.

First things first... i bought Chivu of ajax and hes already strengthend my D...

And as for the tactics.... no i havent been usin the same tactic

In season 1.

I had the typicall Ispwich team no major changes just some tweaking.. and a 2-3-2-1-2 formation... I did well, second in 1st by abhout 10 points. Finidi scored 36 and marcus bent and a loaner LUA LUA added some major scoring punch. Won LEague cup.

In season 2...

Starting the season i bought alan shearer and litmanen and xavier and kept mostly the same line-up for the whole season with the same tactic. Ended up 9th in Epl and went to UEFA semi, mainly thx to Sheares 36 and bents 30 and Xaviers marvelous performances in D. Near the end of the season i bought Dutch u-21 John Heitinga off ajax or psv.. one of em i cant remember right now. Hes only 19 at this point and is already getting call ups. has terrfic captain abilities and great markin/tackling. won league cup. won fa cup


Season 3 brought many changes. I read on some forums about Nikiforenko and Tsigalko and so i bought em and inserted them into my lineup... xavier was taken on a bosman... Started the season by beating a full man utd squad 4-0 with niki scoring a hat trick (nice debut eh?)... it also happened to be utds only loss for the next 2 seasons....Niki scored 40 and tsiggy (tsigalko) scored an additional 30. Niki EPL player of the year and Tsiggy Epl young player of the year with heitinga runner up. I made 6th and won league and fa cups and lost in uefa cup final. I used a very effective 1-1-3-2-1-2 for the season until it got cracked near the end... I couldnt find any other combos that worked and slumped from 2nd to 6th....

Seaspon 4 Started off good i won the inter toto though against fairly weak opponents... no one on my team scored except for tsiggy and niki and they didnt score too many either. I bought Mark Kerr and To madeira but couldnt attract any real big players even though i had money.. players like Viera beckham schvchenko... etc all rejected their transfers.
Epl season starts off horiblle 1-0 losses to teams like everton and watford!...i scored 3 goals in 7 games... though i somehow made it thourgh ajax in the uefa cup first round [ 1-0 aggregate win... trying all kinds of tactics the whole time and nothing seems to work.... im currently using a

Yeah, he tries to leave on a 'Just Sporting Causes' legistration if he isn't transfer listed. You can them get him dirt cheap.

that is up to date for u guys.

Sounds like your prolem may be lack of Goal Scoring. Try:

Just to get your team back into a scoring frame of mind. Perhaps sign a new striker - Miroslav Klose will proaly come.

have the dmc running forward to the same line as the MC. Have the dml and dmr running forwards to the AMC's and the AMC's going forward to the SC. Works for me

this is the best formation in CM!! i mean the formation that makes u beat anyone with any club....you score A LOT of goals!!
