Leontien van Moorsel wins the Gold in the women's time trial. Unbelievable... she crashed real bad on Sunday and gets back on the bike and wins it by 24 seconds. Silver for the U.S. and Bronze for Switzerland.

Tyler Hamilton wins the Gold for America in the man's time trial. Good for him, he deserved it. (Y) Didn't know he was so good in time trials... Silver for Ekimov and Bronze for Julich.

Of course the tour the france is a bigger event. But then again the Olympics are only once in every four years, so result should be taken seriously. If I was a pro I'd definately want to get my hands on an Olympic medal. I think it's sad that Armstrong didn't come and try to take it. Great race by Tyler... I really like him. But Ekimov was even better. 37 yrs old or something and still good enough to take a silver medal... absolutely awesome stuf... Bow down to Eki...
