well that was a waste of time and game. just another pointless match for the mexican federation to fill up their pockets. at least Mexico won 3 - 0.
probably won't be seeing the real team until the friendly vs portugal in boston.

also game showed maza can not be a starter or even a substitute. the defense needs to be Marquez, Moreno, Reyes or Salcido with the untouchables of Layun and Aguilar.

Javier Aquino called up to replace Montes. Ponce had already been called up to replace JC Medina who's injury required surgery and would not recover in time for the beginning of the WC.

Healty Jona, healthy Chaton, healthy Mier and a cooperative Vela would change the expectations for this team completely.
