Russia has dominated Greece very consistently in the past matches, but this Russia is weak without Mostovoi, Onopko, Khokhlov, and after Bestchastnyk and Karpin retired from the NT.

It's definitely not their best moment :(

I don't know where you are coming from, but plz get your facts right:
Russia dominated Greece if you go back to the 60s and 70s but the last 3 matches between the two countries ended with a draw and that was when Greece had a very disorganised team exactly as the Russians have now. :p

Russia has players with good individual skills and Greece must play a more offensive role than before. So it's difficult for anybody to predict the result of this game...

Also, what "dirty" tactics are u talking about?

Congratulations to Russia,

today they played good football and some players really shined! Greece was stressed and, as usually, slow upfront and w/o imagination.

As for diving and smiling after that, you probably talk about the wrong team - we dive but do not smile afterwards :) Seriously now, most of the teams do that systematically. Have you seen Puyol reacting like being shot 10 times per match? Or the artistic dives of Deco? Or Tomasson falling drammatically in the area of the opposition when the wind blows? (just 3 examples, everybody does it).

I was talking about diving 20 times a match, and sometimes even laughing afterwards. Should have at least the decency to keep a straight face.

The Russians are missing many of their starts. This is one of the worst teams they ever had.

I must have been thinking of another team. Looks like Russia and Greece have a pretty even recent past.

Yeah Russia goes out with pride. I'm happy for Tsartas. A classy player that has left a lot of style in Spain, both in the 1st and 2nd divisions.
