Numbers mess up with transfers

Somebody have that problem?? I bought Fernando Torres form Atletico de MAdrid, which had number 9 there. When I bought him, he took Ronaldo's number 9 and left him with number 12 Then I bought Maldini which took out numer 3 from Roberto Carlos and the same wit D'Alessandro that took number 10 from Figo. There is any solution to this?? Is really annoying.

Same thing happens for me, i think what happens is they may give out numbers by how much you paid for the player, and how much skill he has.

I don't think he spent a lot of money with Torres he costs less than 3 million
maybe is another bug

I've noticed that whatever number the player u buy is for his old team is, will be the number of him when u buy him for ur squad.


Van der vaart replaced Ruud as number 10 at Man U for me.
Mexes replaced Zidane as 5 when i signed him for Real

and Defoe took 9 at United (even though it was vacant)

But u get the drift aiiiii

yes, is another bug, very, very annoying I can say. I can't believe I have Ronaldo with number 12 !!!! and Figo with nuber 11 !!!

well we have to live with the bugs, anyways playing with ronaldo as # 12 will not change a lot, only when he celebrates a goal you will notice it
but the problem is that the game has many bugs, anyways i like it

yes, you are right, but as football is my favourite sport, I want its game to be perfect, but maybe is impossible. Well doesn't matter but it's still a bug, so EA must notice this for fifa 2005 or make a fix somehow with CC or with another update.
