ok, wtf is with the fronts of peoples' hair and uniform detail vanishing after the kickoff whistle? For us PC users we shouldn't have to deal with this. Do the devs at konami even understand that some of us have CPU's and vid cards that are more powerful than a PS2? At max detail this should not happen. period.

numbers and hair dissappearing after kickoff

PES PC is and has always been a DIRECT PORT from PS2. There are NO changes made to the graphics engine to boost anything up (except the opportunity to change resolution). It sucks ass, but that's how it's done (and sadly that's how it will be done in the future as well).

sorry. i should have been more clear. it's not the numbers on the back, but the numbers on the front. This is really noticable on National team jerseys. IE. start a game as England, choose their white kit, use "normal long" camera, and watch the numbers on their chests vanish. sooooo lame.

what about the xbox 360 version? is that gonna be a port of the ps2 as well? man, how frickin stupid would that be?

As far as I know, there will be no PES 5 specially for xbox 360, but the normal xbox version should be compatible, and yes, PES 5 xbox is a direct port from PS2 as well. PES 6 will have new engine on PS3, and there is a small hope the PC version will be a port of that. But probably not, since the average PC can't handle the graphics and the guys at Konami are far too lazy to change anything for the PC.
