i hope we wouldnt see another korean war.
the last one took so many lives from both sides , there are people in turkey for example that probably wouldnt know where exactly north korea is
(other than being in the north

and their fathers, grandfathers all died there...
now the north have nukes, the south is going to want some also, japan is waiting too.. when will it stop?
i know when,
we will all stop fighting, when our atmopshere is full of biological & nuclear waste.

i was in a british international school in turkey (during my highschool)
in that school, there were kids from everywhere, korea, ireland, nigeria, usa everywhere. there were a lot of koreans but always from the south.
it was those days that i was curious about the northern side for the first time, and i still am.
i have met people from everywhere, but never heard of northern koreans.

Quite simple, If North Koreans gain any kind perspective of the outside World they may revoke the communist ideals and seek alternatives. The communist propaganda machine will be working full swing to reinforce this.
It is also worth remembering many of them live in terrible poverty and don't have thee means to communicate with the outside world even if they were allowed to do so.

communism is "supposed" to be "for the people". But communist leaders are the most corrupt bastards that exist in this world (i.e. the Chinese leaders, NK leaders, etc), hence, communist countries are poor as fvck yet the leaders all have their 27 cottages and entourage of Mercedes drivers.CapaJr said:
