Tomorrow Houston has to beat 0-point, 0 goals scored, -17 goal difference Isidro Metapan and hope that alreadly-qualified Pachuca doesn't take the foot off the pedal against Arabe Unido. Hopefully the Mexican team will remember the unprecedented 4-1 thrashing they took in Panama and look for revenge.

Pachuca does its part against Arabe Unido. Houston somehow manage to go 2-0 down at Isidro Metapan in the first ten minutes (remember, this is the team which hadn't scored in 5 consecutive CCL games), then fight back and level it at 2-2 right before halftime. Their second goal was rather fortuitous.

Houston are about to conclude a spectacular chokefest. They're losing 3-2 to Metapan. Unfortunate? Perhaps, but they just haven't been very good. I mean, how do you give up three goals against these guys?

The Kansas City city council has approved the soccer specific stadium project for the Wizards and construction is already underway. This only leaves DC United, Houston Dynamo, New England Revolution and the Seattle Sounders as the only teams that don't already have a soccer specific stadium or official plans to build one. It's amazing how much and how fast the league has grown.

Great news. I thought the Saunders also had a project for a soccer only stadium. Don't remember where i read it but i did.
