No weather at all in FIFA this year (news from FIFA Community).

I resent FIFA as it is, but it's even worse playing a season and every game is in bright sunlight, especially in December when the players are wearing short sleeved ahirts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

BTW, weather effects is important.

I don't know how many times I actually liked playing in the rain w/ WE6. I could over hit th e ball a bit, and still manage to make a decent pass cuz the wet grass slows down the ball.

EA's getting complaints for doing what they did for years.. bringing disapointment. For 2004, yeah the game aint out yet, but we do know they're pulling out a feature they promised earlier. So....??

We are disapointed... like always...

Talk, PES/WE..
Maybe(and that's a big MAYBE) they've got less in their hands to solve, nonetheless, they don't fool us with "false" promises. They do have their flaws, but at least as a customer we don't have that sense of having been deceited... annually.

Rain aleways **** up a good soccer day, and it really piss me off when im looking forward to play a game, and then.....the foukin rain fok up all!.

Its very funy how we are complaining about the absence of raining, when in the real life we hate when it rains in soccer days.

Yes, but your not being paid a lot of money to play. ;)

Yes in a few ways I think maybe a few people here have gotten soft in their old FIFA playing days, lol. I know I've lost a bit of my fire...I'm not like I used to be, I'm 18 yrs old now, getting on a bit. “Hey Billy fetch my walking stick”. :crazyboy:

I will ask again ...EA said as far as I remember that rain will change the way to used to play in the field because as WE or PEs (I dont remember wich ) the wet grass could slow down the ball ... so if you think about it thats another feature that have been take it out !!! isnt ?

well you can get wet grass ... from the irrigation of the field.

But I mean that we will have the same kind of gameplay that is not going to be affected by external issues I personally though that was great feature but the script is going to be there so maybe ariel or any of these guys can make something out . Well I hope ...

1) so we are not getting dirty kits ..since the is no water except the one the use for irrigating the field which will look unrealistic

2) I thinked I have reat before that the weather WAS going to affect the gameplay making the ball move in a different way... so thats another feature that is out, isnt ?

please answer

Well, there are grass stains and such...

Well you've just shown something wrong in WE/PES. On any pitch, grass being wet will make the ball move quicker, meaning there is no way you could overhit a pass and still make it a decent one. Unless you're saying that that is unrealistic, in which case totally ignore me :)

but when the pitch has too much water the ball stops, it usually happens in small fields without the technology to drenate(i dont know if this word exists in english) the water...

Yah, i suppose. And the English word is drain, but thanks for drenate. I'll confuse some teachers in school tomorrow with that one :D

No weather is very unrealistic I think. I believe career mode will start to get tedious knowing every match will have the same ball physics and the players' will always be reacting the same way to the weather and it'll just annoy me. Then again if the game plays brilliant with fantastic gameplay, then I can be fine with that, but only the demo will tell. Still, no weather is a bit of a joke, but I can get over it...

Club Football has light rain and heavy rain and it even makes the players' run slower in heavy rain and obviously effects the ball physics, stuff like this is kick as* in my opinion.

Though Club Football, from what I've seen doesn't have great collision detection...players' can kick the ball and the ball will move without contact being made...at times I guess, as this is what has been seen in a video Codies released.

And to be fair I thought the players' needed some food. I bet they've all tried out David Blaines new stunt!

Well if you have played WE6 than you would know that weather is part of the game. When it rains it becomes harder to control the ball and also players move slower :kader:

I play WE6 in rainy days, makes it more interesting, harder to control the ball puts alot to the gameplay itself..... FIFA 2004 will be a plain game, there will not be any taste to play it, its like a good looking chick with an ugly ass..ruines the whole body... in fifa2004 without any weather effects it will be bad for the gameplay.
