Nah, if it says 4.1.5 in the bottom left-corner of your screen then you've got (if everything is correct) no bugs in your game, like that you'll be always unsuccesful with applicatons for other teams.
But no transfer updates or kind of stuff like that therefore you should have a look in the sticky thread: Patches, updates, and editors, available for CM4 and 03/04 .

Yes, bbranco10 look at this list in which is stated what updates are in patch 4.1.5:

- Fixed editor problems with staff and regenerated player names
- Tuned player regeneration
- Fixed bug which meant human players were unlikely to obtain jobs by application
- Fixed bug where the International managers would count virtual players when checking the squad size
- English monthly awards now don't get cleared down at the end of the Russian season

So how much more likely am i to get a job for a national team?

Does this effect my game I have with Man United before the update because thats where I could have easily got a national team job with all the Shi* i accomplished.

In games started with version 4.1.2, 4.1.3, or 4.1.4, it was impossible to get another job (club or nation). By applying the 4.1.5 patch you make it possible again.
You have a really good chance of being awarded a national side job when applying now, with those results.

Results don't mean anything, it's about reputation. yes, results play a big part in your rep, but if you win everything, but fine players all the time your reputation won't be very good

If you have a good reputation, and even then you have to be lucky, big countries tend to take coaches from their country first

I am managing Bayern and won the Bundesliga 2 times in a row and the FA Cup 2 times in a row. I got a pretty good reputation and I applied for Australia (I'm Bosnian in Germany). I got the job, brought them to the World Cup 2006, got eliminated in the group stages being undefeated though (just like Italy at this year's Euro) and then resigned as manager. When I quit and the World Cup ended, I applied for Germany, England, France, Portugal and Belgium. I got offers from Portugal, England and Germany. I took the Germany job. I am currently struggling in qualifying, but with a home win against Lithuania in my last game, I should make 1st place and directly qualify for 2008.

I'm using 4.1.5.

You shouldnt have problems with that though. I applied for Brazil and then they offered me the job. And all i did was win the La Liga with Barça.

To become a manager of a foreign country other than your own, you need to click on 'ADD MANAGER', and then invent a new manager from the country you would like to manage.

For Brazil, you need to state that the new manager can speak Portuguese and/or is a Brazilian national by birth.

For Germany, you need to state that the new manager can speak German and/or is a German national by birth.

For England, you need to state that the new manager can speak English and/or is a English (or Swedish) national by birth.

Errrrr no. I was Brazil manager without speaking Portuguese. I also was manager of France and Italy withot speaking that langueages. And you can take a national team together with your club so no add manager needed at all.
