Like I have said in the fifafootball uk forum, a friend of mine works as a tester for EA in Vancouver (Burnaby) and he said that the game is complete and the demo is essentially ready...them keeping it back may well be attributed to some last minute faults that may be encountered but more than likely they want to push the release as close as possible to November for strategic business reasons...now, having said that and having them actually speculate on the demo release, it is likely that the demo will in fact be released this coming week...more than likely, if it comes out it will come out on Wednesday or Friday since everything in North America is released on those two days...

It's going to be released by EA's UK division though. :/
you know what people; simcut just make me realize something; we are are all slagging at ea including me; but doesnt change the fact that the demo is coming next weekend ( we hope); and doesnt change the fact that we are buying the damm game; why are we kidding are selves; ea will never hear us; this is just a waste of typing ;

Yes, you are right...however, EA Canada is developing the game, and they are responsible for everything and are also in-charge of what happens and when...anyway, all EA games (with the exception of some Europe/Asia specific ones) are released first in North America and then elsewhere...so yeah, all in all, when EA Canada gives a go-ahead to EA UK division to release the demo it will be out...that's why you are likely not to see it untill Wed/Frid...

...and the Project Leader is British. The demo could be released on any day, as it will be available for download via the internet. Each country may have it's conventions for release days (in the UK it is generally Friday)- but the internet is global- and it doesn't depend on sales convention.
Anyway, I'm sure they'll release the demo whenever it is 'humanly possible' to do so... whatever day that might be...
Corporate Lies Part II
"Hey Guys!
I'm sitting here and I can't understand the EA ppl.
Do they actually think that we're complete idiots that we'll just
swallow this corporate BS Lie???
As a communication EXPERT I'm telling you that it takes not more
then 1 minute to upload the fixed Demo files to UK.
They are sitting on a huge Internet backbone.
The EA internal WAN network is so fast that in fact they can upload the whole game to UK in matter of minutes.
So, every year it's the same corporate lies.
But all they do is whining about:
Not enuff time, bugs , errors, complex gameplay needing complex code.
They don't release patches, fixes, or anything else fot that matter too.but still complain about how hard it is.
I tell you EA ppl right now: You can't deal with bugs, errors and complex
code? then don't play with the big boys if ya know what i mean.
There are others who will take your place faster then the speed of light if you can't hack it in this industry.
PES3 is closer then ever for one.
We pay the big bucks to play a big game so give us what we deserve for our money and on time!! otherwise if not, leave it to someone who can.
But the most insulting thing is your lies and stupidest excuses.
that realy insult our intelligence."
This is the 2nd part of my last post:
All the talk about us being pissed off about the demo setback
is just tip of the iceberg fellas.
The real issue here is what triggered this kind if responce.
So it all comes down to this:
We are simply tired of the same **** every year over and over again.
Ok, so EA is a corporation and it's goal is to make the most money by giving least as possible.
That's how all industry and companies work.
So, let's think about what can be done.
I for one know.
1. The only way we can ever get what we want , is to remind them that WE are in control because WE PAY the money,
WE feed them, WE make it all happen by buying the game.
It means that we need to make it clear that if they don't meet our demands then we WILL turn to someone who will actually LISTEN
to US.
2. We need to provide them with a complete wish list.
And tell them that if on the next release it will not be done,
Then we'll walk away from them.
REMEMBER WE gave them the Money and the power to make the games in the first place by buying them and we can take it away just as easy.
They DO have the ability to make exactly what we want because
we provide them with the best money to do just that.And the thechnology is there too.
Of course it's already too late for this on this release.
But not on the next one.
The sad truth is that it's the only way.
Nobody is going to do anything for you unless you take 'em by the balls.In this case Money.
And beleave me, when they see the that graph go down like a stone in the water, they WILL give us what we want Which is
THE BEST For our Money.
